Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Yesterday evening I stopped by for dinner and was absolutely disappointed in the quality of the burger and fries. Both hamburgers I purchased were flat as if someone smashed them down. This makes the second time in a row I’ve come to this location and received the same poor quality burger. Fries were over salted and not fresh What a waste of money and time.

If you want a salad that will not leave you hungry, the Whataburger Cobb Salad is the one. I have had salads at many restaurants and fast food places. I have paid double this price for half of what Whataburger is stuffing into this container. If you want to live life on the spicy side, order it with the jalapeño ranch like I did. I’ve gone here for over 10 years and I feel the past year the service has been horrible. I always ask for either a substitute of a condiment or no tomatoes or onions. But when I check my order, I always see a couple onions in my order or something is missing from my order. Even after correcting them I feel they just take take off what they can see and not remake the sand which (I’m not asking for them to re-cook it) and I just feel bad for anyone who may be allergic to anything like onions. I had received my burger completely squished after I asked kindly to correct my order.

We’ve now been to this location several times and the wait is ALWAYS unreasonably long. There was only a couple cars in front of us, 1 or 2 tables taken inside, a full staff from what I could see and we still waited 15 MINUTES!

We waiting 30 minutes for two simple burgers. Then they told us they forgot to put our order in, despite charging our credit card and giving us drinks, then they didn’t even PUT MEAT on either of our burgers, AND did not give us fries despite charging us for them. Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had at any one of their locations. The manager should be fired!
