Food here is excellent and some of the best fine dining in the Lehigh Valley but is relaxed and unpretentious. This restaurant has supplanted other long standing options in the region for our family.

Serving staff is very flexible and courteous. Everything was flavorful from the bread basket to the affrogatto. Clean beer taps make a difference and this restaurant attends to that very closely.

Sandwiches are wonderful but the French Dip stands out. The steaks are well presented and cooked to proper temperature. Seafood is oddly on point given the geography of the Lehigh Valley.

The restaurant is well managed and inside a Hyatt hotel. I mentioned to my Hyatt Globalist concierge that the food here is superior to the menu at their flagship Park Hyatt in NYC. I know this is the hottest of takes but it’s probably the best hotel restaurant in the entire Mid-Atlantic region.

We had many special occasions celebrated here and there is great recognition of your celebration. I was shocked when the bartender looked into my hotel account and successfully mixed the cocktail listed as my favorite despite missing one crucial ingredient.

I was derelict in taking over a year to post this review since our wedding celebration here. Shout out to Bella the server for handling our special day. You are a credit to the Hyatt brand and it’s commitment to welcoming anyone into their properties.

My girlfriend and I had wanted to visit Westside Grill for some time and we finally got the chance.

Adjoined to the Hyatt, the restaurant is spotless and welcoming with great seating for guests. The bar also has that open and comforting feeling.

But this place has an exceptional hostess and they all work seamlessly with each other. For instance, I saw no busing personnel, but the hostesses would clear tables with nary a sound and at lightning speed.

The servers are knowledgable, professional, and genuinely kind. Pamela, our server, helped guide us through our drink, meal, and dessert choices and all of her recommendations were stellar.

Pamela presented us with warm sourdough bread, with warm butter at the start. For the first time since I visited Alaska in 1989, I finally had outstanding sourdough that lived up to its name. Right then, I knew we were in for something special.

My Grey Goose martini with fresh blue cheese stuffed olives was exceptional.

The ahi tuna appetizer was flawless with excellent cuts of tuna. My scallops over pureed sweet potatoes was fantastic. The scallops were tender and flavorful. My girlfriend ordered the turkey pot pie, which was absolutely delicious (and she had enough for the next day).

The dark chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert really hit the spot. Absolutely rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. My Irish coffee with Jameson was perfect.

Reservations recommended because the Westside Grill gets packed.

Once you dine here, you’ll taste why.

We want to get back there — immediately.

Beautiful Atmosphere, Average Execution

We had dinner at Westside Grill on a Sunday evening, and while the space itself is beautiful and the overall vibe was lively, the experience fell a little short of expectations.

Our server, Lori, was lovely and attentive, and the restaurant was clearly busy with people enjoying their meals. But things started off rocky at the bar—it took longer to get three drinks than it did to receive our appetizer. Nothing like eating your starter while wondering if your cocktails are being handcrafted or just melting into puddles.

I had an Old Fashioned, which was just okay. The use of chipped ice didn’t help—it melted quickly and watered the drink down before I was halfway through. A drink like that deserves a solid ice cube or sphere, not slush.

For dinner, my wife and I both ordered the 14oz NY Strip Steak. It was enjoyable, but not memorable. A bit chewy and slightly tough, which didn’t match the $57 price tag. The mashed potatoes were fine, nothing standout, and the asparagus was extremely thin—more garnish than side dish.

I genuinely wanted to give 5 stars, and maybe it was just an off night. The setting is upscale, and the staff were kind, but the food and drinks didn’t deliver a five-star experience.

Hope to give it another shot in the future—but for now, it’s a solid three stars.

Our server, David was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, attentive and hilarious. We started off with the lobster bisque. Then we had the 8 oz. prime filet with red wine demi-glace and the poached maine lobster risotto
with asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes. Both were amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly!
I had this gorgeous pineapple marg and my husband had an old fashioned that I forgot take a pic of. We also got dessert to go.
10/10 would recommend eating here and ask for David!

To the owner of West side Grille, my husband really wanted to suprise me for Valentines day with a special dinner he made reservations way ahead of time and requested a booth. When we arrive we notice that staff in front was not welcoming at all that was number one, number two we were seated all the way in the back with a semi booth as if we were part of the Rosa Parks crew at the back of the bus right next to the kitchen the only ambiance we had was your staff looking back and forth in out the kitchen. The table that was so wobbily that the waitress had to put card board under the table to make it steady instead of accomadating us with another table. There was no ambiance of celebration in this place. The food was bland and the whole time we were on the back of the bus with not a whole booth but a semi booth no candle lit as we notice every table had one, when we ask the waitress what happen to our candle we were told that they had ran out of candles. There was a another family seated in the back and it seem they had a birthday at the table which they had to sing happy birthday on there own. The whole moral to the story is the $200 that we spend you should be invested on training your staff On hospitality because clearly there was no hospitality not even from the manager. I put a one star on this review because I had no choice it should be a 0. There’s always room for improvement, I will never step foot in that place again to see them improve. if that ever becomes a thing at Westside Grille. PS.Your establishment has to do better!!! I dont care what other are saying about this place. We know what we experience and it was not pleasant at all or worth the time and $$.

Kaitlyn was an AWESOME waitress! She was so friendly and easy going! The service and atmosphere are great, I ordered the pasta primavera per the vegan option, it was good however I wish there was a bit more variety vegetable wise in the dish. Other than that every thing was great and had a great time enjoying their promotion 2 for 1 special which is specifically why I came here, don’t see many promotions like that now a days, I recommend this restaurant

We scheduled a late afternoon lunch to celebrate the visit of our family member visiting from Europe. The place was quiet as it was the late end of the lunch crowd. We had the BEST server, Randy, who is extremely pleasant and very friendly. He took such good care of us making note of our special requests and not rushing us through our meal. We ordered everything from appetizers to entrees to dessert (with a lot of sharing). The cocktails were great and the food was so delicious and definitely plentiful. We had such a wonderful, relaxing time. We have been to the Westside Grille previously (the buffets are outstanding) and didn’t hesitate to make reservations there for this special date. We have never been disappointed and will be back for sure, hopefully seeing Randy again.

I had some doubts going here because of the reviews but friend said the food was worth it. We went during the BOGO entree special and so glad we went. Husband and I got steaks-the 8 oz prime filet and 20 oz bone in ribeye with mash potatoes and asparagus. Both were cooked perfectly. Flavors were just great . These were covered under the BOGO special. There is a kids menu despite it not being on the website. The boys got the pizza and fries. Boys said the pizza was just okay (presentation wasn’t pretty). Fries were delicious and were cooked perfectly. Boys said they would do chicken tenders next time. The lobster mac and cheese was quite disappointing though. It tasted and looked like Velveeta shells and cheese. The lobster in it made it better. The sourdough bread on the table was soft, warm and delicious. The cocktails were amazing. I got the Ring Around the Rosie which had a tropical coconut/pineapple flavor. The brownie with ice cream was a perfect way to end the meal. Bella our server and her helper (tall man with longish hair) were both fantastic. Super responsive, cheery and knowledgeable. Overall we would come back even without the BOGO but will likely avoid anything with cheese.

The drinks were great. Tuna appetizer was good as well. My friend’s chicken came out cold but our sever promptly fixed it. My bolognese was good, but more of a blush sauce not a traditional bolognese. Dessert was also good. Overall drinks and dessert were the best part of the meal.

We dined here tonight and our server Lacey was awesome. We are from Pittsburgh and are staying in the area and we are so happy we tried this place. The pricing was incredibly affordable ( we were expecting it to be $100 more minimum) and the food was delicious. When we got our check we were extremely shocked at the pricing for such great quality. Next time we are back in the area we will be stopping again. Also shout out to the lovely manager she was also awesome.
