I have eaten here in a long time. My boys said their burgers good. My wife still is not a fan of their vegetables. I had the country fried steak. It was subpar.

We waited 20 mins after being seated to even place our orders. When I finally got my food, it seemed like she gave me the wrong meal because it wasn’t supposed to come with gravy, so I gave her back the gravy. There was blue stuff on my silverware (the manager said maybe a crayon got washed in the dishwasher or something). The butters were hard as a rock and not spreadable.
All of that I could look past, but when I got the bill I noticed the waitress tried to charge me for my hasbrowns, which came with the meal (I got the biscuit breakfast that comes with a meat and a side of my choice) she also charged us for my daughters substitute- she ordered kids pancakes and asked for hash browns instead of bacon, the waitress said she would check, never let us know whether or not they could substitute it and just brought her pancakes and hash browns so I assumed the substitution went through, but nope! Instead the waitress charged us for them, but still never gave us the bacon we also paid for. The manage adjusted it to take off both hash browns (over $6 in additional charges). My theory is the waitress was trying to upcharge to get a bigger percentage tip. Jokes on her I guess. I tip based on service.
Last time we went they served my daughter expired, chunky, carton milk.

Wow it has been a good while since we had been 2this Cracker Barrel. Atmosphere was good…there was no wait for a Sunday around 3pm. It wasn’t full but sadly was still loud 2 have a normal conversation with the person next 2u. Sadly the waiter confessed at the end that he was sorry 4 the service. He said it wasn’t his normal shift and was having a bad day which we definitely noticed. We ordered our food and had 2 wait so long for the coffee creamer that the coffee got cold… Then i asked for white gravy on my chicken frd steak and brown on my mash potatoes. Which neither had any when they brought my plate…. Then waited a great while for my gravy which he brought me all white no brown and I told him 2 forget it cause almost everyone was done. We had 2 constantly remind him 2 bring coffee creamer even tho we kept telling him we needed creamer when we asked for more coffee. I def know and understand we all have bad days….it just made the service we got frustrating 2us. Sad how Cracker Barrel as many places portions have gotten smaller as there biscuits and corn bread but the prices don’t come down. Maybe the service just didn’t make the food taste as good as B4… And over all we brought a friend visiting from Colombia and we just told her the service and food B4 use to be a lot better

Biscuits were so hard I have a video of me hitting it on the counter and it’s like a rock, not one crumb fell off of it. This was on a Saturday morning too so it wasn’t like it was a slow time or day. All side containers were barely half full or missing. Was trying to get breakfast for my family before a big day out and we didn’t even get to eat.

Normally, I love Cracker Barrel, specifically this location. This visit, however, wasn’t one of my favorites. The pancakes were kind of hard and not all that hot. We were some of the first visitors, yet, it took a while for the hostess to even come out to speak with us then it took a while to be seated. If there were customers in front of us, it would explain the wait but there was no one in front of us. I ate about half of my food. First time I didn’t eat all my pancakes.

It was a little bit crowded, but got a good table. Our waiter Harrison, was awesome, he suggested s better option for my plate. Will look forward to come back later. Prices are super good. And you can get souvenirs or gifts for your family at the store.

We arrived at 10:30ish Saturday morning. I Had checked in online beforehand and we had to wait only a few minutes. The hostesses were super friendly even tho they were very busy! Our table was perfect – in a corner with windows. Our server Natasha was busy but so good and patient and helpful (I hope I spelled her name correctly). I get pancakes for breakfast everywhere we eat but these were the best- flavor and perfect amount of crisp on the edges! My over-med eggs and sausage were good as well. My husband had a big sampler I think- with scrambled eggs and sausage and grits and two nice fluffy biscuits. He ate all of it and said it was good. and he’s not typically a big eater. I’m ready to go again. If there was a downer it would be the noise, but that’s also past of the charm!

Wife and I had not been to CB in quite a while. No reason in particular. It’s just not in our usual “paths”. We’re glad we dropped in today. STILL have excellent chicken and dumplings and breakfast items. Server was very cordial and highly attentive. Endless coffee (2 cups for me) was very good. Still a good selection of items in the “store”. The menu’s changed a little from what it was a few years ago but, still an awesome selection of good, old-fashioned food. Highly recommend!
