Delicious sea food and great service despite being busy. I can’t get enough of the warm bread rolls they bring out at the start of your meal. Sooooo good! I also found out they have a full bar so even though the drink menu only shows beer and wine you can absolutely order cocktails. I recommend the fish house pasta with added shrimp and scallops. So glad this place was able to avoid the demolition of the rest of restaurant row.

As a local, this is a personal favorite and nostalgic place to dine. The husband and I had our first date here and will often return to enjoy a meal. The menu has been reduced to a single page, but there are still plenty of choices. You’ll see choices in appetizers, soups, salads, pasta, and fresh grilled fish. Entrées come with two sides.
Tonight, the husband had his usual, Monkfish with a salad and the creamy and cheesy potatoes. I had the scallop and shrimp salad and we shared a bowl on New England clam chowder. Our dining experience started with freshly baked warm sourdough rolls and whipped butter.
The service was great and welcoming, as usual. The surrounding area is in the process of remodeling. I look forward to seeing this place continue to thrive.

The worst fish meal I ever had. Disgusting low quality, fried fish and I am certain the salmon I ordered for $34.00 was not wild- caught. Prices are outrageous for the quality of the food. Businesses should be held accountable for false advertisement. I do not recommend this place and advise you to go to another seafood place if you are craving a good seafood meal because you will not find it here.

It was just great to dine inside with full service. Food was good..and a fair value. Update: I have been critical of the Fish House over the years for never changing their sides… and sometimes sort of “bland” fish. We went in last week for lunch with friends that love the place and I decided to order something different. So I tried the “Shrimp Skewers”… they were outstanding. Perfectly seasoned and charred over the Mesquite wood… I was very happy with the choice… and the service was excellent.

Fish House Vera Cruz in Restaurant Row, is one of my favorite places for a delicious fish dinner. The place is lovely, and the fish tanks are awesome! The food is very tasty, and the Customer Service was delightful. I had Hannah as my Server, and she had me to start with; gorgeous smile, and very relaxing

This is a very different experience! It is a mix of a fish market with a restaurant. Lots of Spanish influences are very visible in the architecture. I was hoping to get a paella, but they didn’t have it. I got the crab cakes and the Boston Clam Chowder. My friend got their cod plate with two sides. The food was very good. The crab cakes were filling and the dip was yummy. The soup was a star clam chowder. The cod plate was also very good. All in all, a good experience and I would recommend them if you have a group that loves seafood. Lots of parking right outside, so no issues there.

Fish House Vera Cruz is a great place for a quick bite, a beer at the bar, or a nice sit-down meal. Classic fish house feel and decor. Impressive selection of fresh fish and sea food. 4 of us were seated immediately and our server was attentive and on point. Food came quick and was delish. Prepared perfectly and nice size portions. Ceviche, monk fish, fish tacos, and salads all received high praise from the table. Highly recommend the Fish House Vera Cruz and look forward to returning next time in the area.
