I was so sad to hear this morning that the Wasabi in Superior had a severe fire. It’s hard to believe that it was so horrible considering that the fire station is across the street. My husband and I have always loved this location. Even during the pandemic when indoor seating was closed they had fabulous service. The food is always amazing and we loved coming in on special occasions to treat ourselves. We will miss this restaurant and We hope that it either rebuilds or moves somewhere close by!

Ordered the pickled radish roll, the pork gyoza, the yakitori , the chicken Udon soup, and the torikatsu. All of it was cooked perfectly and the picked radish sushi is a something most places don’t have. The staff were attentive, the place was inviting and beautiful. Will have to come again to try the all you can eat sushi.

Had the “all you can eat sushi” dinner and didn’t regret it one bit! The food came out quickly, everyone was very nice and the tea was great! The spring rolls are fried and I loved those. I’ll be coming back next time I’m in town. ❤️

The weather was nasty, so not much of a crowd. However, the service was great and the food was amazing. All you can eat, but made to order. Awesome sushi! Appetizers, sushi and main course for $19.99. We will definitely be going back!

Great sushi, fair prices. I ate until I could barely move, tried several different rolls and appetizers with bottomless beverages for $23 and some change on the “all you can eat” menu. Lunch special pricing for the all you can eat option is $5 less- good sushi, great price, comfortable atmosphere with the expected Japanese motif. Highly recommend for a good meal with friends or family…or even alone

This was pure pleasure! The hostess took as much time as I needed to help me with my order. The food came quick and looked fabulous. To me that’s a big part of the experience. When I began eating my food I knew that I was going to thoroughly enjoy myself because this was delicious. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the fact that this restaurant has the look from the previous business that was here. I wish that they would have spent more time concentrating on the authenticity of the region these Foods come from.

Great food, service is good when it’s not too busy. We should understand when it is busy that people get flustered and make mistakes. Great atmosphere and would recommend!

I arrived before the lunch rush on Friday, and did not have high hopes because the outside of the building looks like an abandoned Wendy’s. Inside though- oh goodness. You would not be able to tell. They did extensive renovation and it is gorgeous, with comfortable seating and lighting. I have seen quite a few people complaining about their leftover surcharge, so I was also a bit leery about that, but the waitress explained it when I asked, and it makes sense to not only keep their food costs down, but to help prevent waste. I can see how many Americans who are used to being able to pile it on and just throw away what they don’t want might get upset, but screw them for being pigs. I was careful to only choose a little bit at a time so that I would not waste anything and it was perfect- I *easily* received $40+ worth of food in several rounds from their AYCE menu for their lunch price of $16- it was all made to order, very fresh, and perfect. I also had cold sake, iced tea, and a separate clear soup that was not on the AYCE menu- my total was $22. I will definitely return with friends.
