Great thin crust pizza. I ordered the custom pepperoni, grilled pepper, mushroom and pineapple. The Rain Shadows 2021 Harvest beer was excellent if you prefer sours to IPA or lagers. It’s 8.4% alcohol has a kick so if you’re driving be aware.

Had a great meal. My pizza was a chick, bacon and ricotta. It was good. The crust had a good bite to it. The beer was equally good. Go check them out.

Our first time at this Von Ebert location. We normally go to the Glisan St location. On this particular Sunday afternoon we decided to go to Cascade Station to get lunch at another spot but they were closed so we stumbled on Von Elbert’s. Inside was packed with guests. As soon as we decided what to get we went up to the counter and the worker let us know right away that it was only him working and he was behind on orders and it would be a few minutes before he could take our order. We appreciated the communication and as quickly as he could he came back and took our order. BBQ wings and a Chicken + Bacon + Ricotta pizza. We took our number and went and sat at the outside tables. Thirty minutes later our food was prepared and in front of us. The chicken bacon ricotta pizza was delicious. So good that I forgot to take a picture before digging in. Definitely glad we stopped in and will do it again.

Best pizza we had while in Portland! Breadsticks are great too. We had takeout. 10 min wait for our order. I definitely recommend!

Went here for a dinner meeting because it was central to the group. Very glad we did. Nice place to sit and have a long discussion. I had a stout that was quite good. I split the chicken pizza with another person. It was very flavorful and the lemony ricotta was not overpowering. It was subtle so don’t be afraid. We will likely meet there again

The pizza and beer are both outstanding at Von Eberts, the Pils German beer is awesome, as is the chicken bacon ricotta pizza, if you’re having a hard time deciding. Go during “Power hour” (I think it was 6-7pm) for 3 dollar pints!

The pizza here is good. Nice thin crust and good balance of cheese and sauce. Had a hazy IPA which was good! My fam liked the pizza too.

Pizza was delicious, customer service was excellent. Beer was great and had no problem with them. One star down with selection slim. I would have no problem going again when I’m in town.
