Excellent seafood – don’t miss the scallops or the grouper. Both were outstanding and the service was pleasant and professional. I’d have given five stars, but the restaurant smelled like a locker room. They need some serious dehumidifiers, new carpet, and water filters while they’re at it. The smell was bad enough that it interfered with the experience.

Fine dining is dying art, so it’s such a treat when you find a place like the Verandah. Highly trained, attentive and knowledgeable, the staff will take care of your every need. My meal was more than delicious. It was high art of taste and beauty. Bricked red snapper over gnocchi. Like most art, the price of admission isn’t cheap.

Amazing experience! The service was superb! Tessa and Nancy are the best! Thank you Tessa for the recommendations! We appreciated Shawn stopping by and checking in on us throughout dinner. Try the octopus carpaccio, the shrimp pasta and the grouper, deliciousness in each bite! Mezcal Margarita was refreshing and balanced. Limoncello dessert is now my favorite dessert. We will be back for sure!

It was very disappointing, I now know why I was able to get reservations on a Saturday night with only 24 hour notice. Our wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The food definitely did not match the price nor did the wine. We will not be back.

My husband and I like to experience “good food “ – all over the world including Michelin restaurants . This restaurant deserves a Michelin star ⭐️. We ordered grouper and scallops for the main course and octopus for a starter. My husband and I thought the octopus was cooked way better than a Michelin restaurant we tasted in Europe! Our server Tesa was so amazing , as we shared our earlier experience with her , she made our old fashions herself for us! Please , don’t miss this nice restaurant!! .

This is definitely Amelia island’s finest restaurant. We were staying in the Omni hotel resorts and this was place was strongly recommended. So glad we tried it out. The moment you enter the restaurant you will get a fantastic service, delicious food, and an enjoyable evening with friends and family. We were a group of eight so made reservations ahead of time. You can make reservations right from the Omni hotel website.

Service was excellent. Drinks at the bar before dinner were very casual and cozy. Food was very good with one exception. Crab cakes were not filled with breadcrumbs and had excellent flavor. Not fishy at all. Bread selection and butters were very tasty. Deviled eggs were ok but not special. The shrimp cavatelli with pesto was delicious. Ahi tuna ordered medium can out well done in my opinion. Not very good. I only had 1 bite. The manager substituted tuna tartare which was delicious and took off $18 from the bill for the Ahi tuna I did not eat. Dessert was a blackout chocolate cake which was very good! Overall a good experience and I will go back…just next time I’ll order the Ahi tuna rare 🙂

I ordered a 8oz steak for 59 bucks if it was 4 oz I would be surprised, then ordered a side of mashed potatoes, no flavor . The appetizers were dinky and over priced..
