The food is super good. This is a low key Italian restaurant. It was kid friendly and our server was fantastic. We enjoyed the UVA Pasta Bake and the kiddos enjoyed pizzas which were huge. 🙂

Excellent food. I had the lasagna and it was very good. The Marina is slightly tangy and spicy and just great. The wife had the braised beef ravioli which was also delicious. Wonderful waitress. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but when I asked for an espresso shot at the end of my meal they told me they only have regular coffee. Fix that small detail and this place is world class!

I rarely post a review but I left so satisfied with my meal and service today that I felt compelled to share my experience not only with the public but the staff as well. The food was amazing. One of the best meals we’ve had out in a long time. Even the bread and spinach salad were wonderful. We just wanted to say thanks to Steve who prepared the food and I think it was his sister that served us (sorry I couldn’t remember your name). Great team guys. Great meal & great service. We will absolutely be recommending you. Thanks for a great meal.

When this was on 4th street it was excellent and my family frequented it often. Now downtown the last two times experiences have been pretty bad. The first time there was only 1 server and 1 hostess and it took forever to get waters, food, refills… they even turned tables away… that was several months ago. Then we went last week and while the server was excellent and the food actually was great the timing of our food coming out was pretty bad… and while we were the only table in the place for the first 30 minutes we still were waiting and waiting for our entrees for about an extra 20 min after we had already had an app and salad. Then the pizza wasn’t even prepared as the menu stated! There literally was only by then a few tables in the restaurant??!! But server was great and hostess seems to be getting a little better.

Me and the wife ventured here on a Friday snowy evening with high expectations since it was reviewed so well. Unfortunately this was not the case. As we walked in we were seated immediately and it seemed pretty slow as tables were open all around us. The waitress was very stressed and inexperienced. After we waited about 6 minutes to be greeted at our table, she took our order. Then more waiting, After 25 minutes. And us reminding her if we could have bread. She informed us that the kitchen was very backed up and it would be at least 50 mins.. we both debated about leaving and walking to Seasons.. but we stayed as the Salads came out right after she told us the 50 min wait for our dinner. They also literally turned away a party of 8 and said the kitchen was on a 2 hour back up.. overall just go to Seasons down the street. Don’t waste your time.

Don’t tell my Italian restaurant owning family on the East Coast, but this is the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Great food, great ambiance, good service, good music. Prices were fantastic for the quality of food they serve (which is top-notch). Can’t wait to go back!

The best homemade pizza in town. Coeur d’ Alene has several great pizza places, but Uva has the best crust and sauce. Hands down.

My wife and I tried Uva for the first time when they were at their former location, and were extremely excited when they moved right downtown! I can’t get enough of their pasta, and my wife LOVES their huge list of wines. I think the waiter said they have one of the largest wine lists in town.

My ONLY complaint is that it’s usually really busy whenever we have gone in on Sundays (Date night for my wife and I) but the staff and kitchen are always on top of it.

Sauce tasted off on my order and the food takes FOREVER. Maybe 1-2 other tables of people and for our group of 3 we waited and waited and waited. My best friend ordered a pizza and the onions weren’t on it but bc it took so long she didn’t say anything and have to wait even longer to eat. Too bad bc this is a good location and prices seemed ok. They do give you bread which was somewhat heavy but good.

Great food, good location, reasonable prices. We took our toddler, which is always risky, but we all had a great time. Cozy and romantic, but also family friendly. We all loved the focaccia that comes before the meal, as well as everything else.
