VEGAN GATOR is a plant-based concept with a passion for delicious vegan food. We feature vegan artisanal burgers, and tasty smothered fries, made from locally sourced ingredients, and house made sauces. We present dishes in a way that excites vegans and non-vegans alike. We are on a mission to promote a cruelty free lifestyle, mainstream veganism, and spotlight reducing animal suffering and environmental damage. All of our products are of the highest organic qaulity, and naturally cholesterol free. We believe in the health benefits of a plant based diet and we are indebted to our community to promote sustainable eating, provide living wage, and encourage a meatless lifestyle.

Food was amazing and atmosphere is super cute! We ordered the chicken wings, mushroom burger, truffle fries, and shrimp. Chatted with Alex for a bit and learned what goes into the food. Great cooking, great people!! 10/10 would recommend.

Found this restaurant/Foodtruck and was blown away. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a man (I assume he’s the owner) he was very friendly and the service was great, he helped describe some of the items on the menu. The portion sizes were fantastic and the flavors were phenomenal! Our order was freshly made in under 15 minutes. I got the Surf & Turf burger and the shrimp were so realistic looking. My friend got the Silikedelik Mushroom Burger and he said that it was one of the best vegan burgers he’s ever had, I would have to say the same for mine as well. We also got the White Truffle & rosemary fries and WOW were they good! The garlic aioli on top of the fries was what made the fries so delicious. Definitely will be going back to try some of the other options on the menu. 10/10

Wow, wow, and wow! This food was so dang good! The wangs were so crunchy and kept being crunchy the whole time we ate them. Definitely not the vegan experience I’ve had elsewhere in Gainesville, and now that I know about Drew and this crazy good food truck, I’ll be coming back for more every time I visit here! Flavor, crunch, and satisfaction – this place has it all!

The rosemary infused blueberry tea is amazing we got the Og burger and the patty melt when I say these flavors are mouth punching they are! Definitely recommend to anyone who isn’t vegan or vegetarian my husband and I are pescatarian!

Vegan Gator take all my money! The first thing my eyes gravitated towards when I was reading their menu was the “truffle fries”. I knew I didn’t have to read any further that I was going to order them but… then I read a little further. I ended up ordering every fry option they had. Every selection was INCREDIBLE. I don’t know much about the company but they were parked outside of Joyfully Baked for a pop up vintage clothing sale. It was great to see so many young colorful people in one place. This stop was the pinnacle of our Florida experiences thus far. Give vegan gator a follow and order their food if you’re ever in their area

I’ve traveled all around the US and eaten at many vegan restaurants. There are few that have food this good. It is comparable to the Seattle and DC vegan food scene. Easily the best vegan food in Gainesville and in the 352 area code. This place is a gem. If you haven’t there already, check this place out. Those rosemary truffle fries will break your mouth!

I’ve had the “wings” from here and they are 10/10 today had a cheese burger and I have to say it was 10/10. Definitely couldn’t tell it wasn’t beef. I have zero complaints other than they need to be at the Ortho building every week. Great service didn’t wait long. Will be eating from this food truck again.

Best vegan patty melt I’ve ever had!! The mushrooms are seasoned perfectly. The swamp fries were also very good. So glad I got to try the food at the Jax Veg Fest, please come back again soon
