Went there after reading all the positive reviews. I can’t deny the fact that their hot dogs are genuinely tasty but the customer service is not good. They asked us to place the take out order since they were gonna close in about 20 mins or so but they let the next person to dine in. Oh please don’t even think about getting chicken sandwiches here, they make good hot dogs tho

A hot dog is just a hot dog, but Umai elevates the modest hot dog to another level. Forget weinerschnitzel or Korean corn dogs or even Costco. Sure, it’s pricier, but they flavors and textures are worth it. I have eaten here a handful of times and as of right now the bulgogi dog is my favorite

Great hotdogs with creative yet delicious combinations. Staff were nice but lacked some napkins… which was hard because eating these dogs could be messy.

Ordered the bulgogi hot dog. Fast and friendly service. Food tastes great and felt unique. Only downside is it is a bit pricey at $10 for a hot dog.

Like how pizza got reimagine to be a blank canvas for unique flavors, Umai does it with hot dogs. Great ingredients, unique flavor combinations, and excellent execution.

Thus was my second time there. Definitely somewhere I’d go again. The food is great. The service is great. Even the suggestions from the manager on what to try was perfect. I had one of their specialty hot dogs and spicy garlic noodles. Loved it!

A+. Best hot dog I ever had. I ordered the Kyoto Fire, but instead of the hot link I got it with a 100% angus hot dog to control the heat. The jalapeños coupled with the creamy habaneros gave it the perfect amount of heat as I expected. The fried onions gave each bite that crunch. Their teriyaki sauce played with my emotions. Everything worked. The side basket of cajun fries were light & crispy and where the perfect size for two people to share.

Tried this hole in the wall spot just by chance and it was yummy! The variety looked interesting so I gave it a go. I ordered the Tijuana wonton appetizer. I’m not sure what was in them aside from cream cheese, I think maybe bacon? Either way they were pretty tasty. You can choose sauces so I got dynamite sauce and cilantro lime. Wasn’t a huge fan of the dynamite sauce as I thought it would be spicier but the cilantro lime was pretty good match for these. I ordered the Kyoto fire hot dog. As you can see in the picture the presentation was well done and not just thrown together like some places. Flavor was good and bun was fresh and perfectly toasted. My only complaint would be that it wasn’t spicy enough but apparently I have a high tolerance for spice!
