Best BBQ in Portland! Super nummy favors and very friendly staff. I had the brisket sandwich, it was perfectly tender and juicy. The BBQ sauce was mouth-watering goodness. I was very happy with my choice of sweet potato fries and the dipping sauce was tasty. I heard great things about their slushies, and I loved the watermelon lemon! I highly recommend!

Went there for lunch today, I ordered the 3 meat BBQ box, all the meats were delicious. My husband got the brisket with a side of Parmesan garlic fries, also delicious. I liked getting the little electronic buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. The staff was friendly. Will definitely be back!

Splendid. My kid, 9yo is super picky. He had a rib at a local joint and liked it so the next weekend we tried The Pit. No ribs, so we chose the brisket. I wanted the less fatty parts knowing my kid, they obliged. Add the amazing cheese fries, and forget about it! “My favorite meal in Portland” the kid proclaimed! Enough said. Yummy.

This-is-a-pure-FIND! The brisket was moist and very tasty, the pulled pork was smokey and out of this world, and loved the sides too. I cannot believe how lucky we are here in Woodstock to have this open near us. A lot of nice seating as well. We both cleaned our plates until they shined!

Very nice folks at the cart, but that can not hide the fact that this is not good BBQ. Ordered the 3 Meat plate, brisket was WAY overcooked, and seemed like it had been sliced quite a while ago and then reheated either on a grill top or oven. Couldn’t even recognize the cut as being brisket. The Pork was a bit better and I could see this being acceptable if a bit dry. The sausage was dry and overcooked, sliced and finished on the grill or oven. The Mac Salad is odd, Cheddar Shells with olives? Beans were ok, run of the mill. Slaw was fine. But for the price the quality was extremely disappointing. I hope this was a one off for them food quality wise, otherwise I don’t see this succeeding. There is very good authentic BBQ in Portland, and many fans of such. This was not it sorry to say.

Nice folks but it’s a no. The mac salad and cole slaw lack seasoning. The beans taste like VanDeCamps pork and beans. The sauce could be from a bottle: very sweet and mostly flat. The meat has a good smoke but is overcooked.
