I was never crazy about the name. Four dollar sodas at the bar. Now five dollars with a tip. I mentioned this to the bartender. His reply… ” …

This place is one of my favorite spots to go. Super reliable and consistent. Lucas behind the bar makes an amazing espresso martini. I highly recommend their Rueben sandwich and fried pickles. Also shoutout to their creative names on their dishes, makes looking at the menu much more fun. Chloe helped us accommodate our party on such short notice and helped make our night amazing blast. Ray was super funny and gave some great advice on the football game! Overall very personable staff, awesome drinks and food, and the atmosphere speaks for itself!

Overall a 3 star experience. No problems with the food or the service. But when it comes down to somewhere I’m gonna decide to bring my girl out for food I’d rather spend $70 or more on a nicer dinner and experience. We only got one burger a side of fries, and a bowl of pasta with chicken, and two martini’s. The fact that my bill was $70 is a major turn off and I will not be coming back. Staff was good, atmosphere was great but it’s a sports bar. That shouldn’t be an expensive experience. That’s completely contradicting to what it should entail. I knew what I was going into and yet I still ended up disappointed. You got those college kids right where you want em!

Stopped into the Thirsty Beaver today for lunch and it got the job done. The inside is cute and spacious. The waitress was also very nice and took our orders very quickly.

I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and my partner had the turkey avocado wrap. He liked his food, and mine was pretty decent as well.

I’m giving four stars because I found three different/rather long hairs on the table and my chicken sandwich didn’t blow me away. However, it’s definitely not bad by any means!

As a senior at Bryant University, we have slowly turned the thirsty beaver into one of our go to favorite spots. The atmosphere and great service have been impeccable and they have always treated us with nothing but respect. Some of my fondest memories have come from nights with my friends and classmates at the thirsty beaver. As of late, the place has been overtaken by Providence college freshmen all of whom are under the drinking age. It has come to my attention all of their “younger bars” have been shut down. They responded by ruining the thirsty beaver for kids of age that have been going here for years. They are rude, try and fight us in line, and think they are so entitled. One kid got denied for a fake id and 20 minutes later when I got through the line he was in the bar ordering a drink. Now I know we can’t claim the thirsty beaver as a Bryant bar but what we hope for is that the beaver will prioritize people of legal age and long time customers. It’s disappointing that all of the seniors and juniors now refuse to go there and look at it like a playground for snobs. I wish we could go back to those days. I am speaking for 100+ people that we will not be back until some serious change occurs.

The Smithfield location is definitely the hangout for Bryant University students. I watched group of young men and young women come in one after the other on a Thursday night.
Ordered the loaded nachos and a burger – they were good. Foodwas served quickly. Server was very nice. Gave service 4 stars instead of 5 because there were definitely not enough staff to cover the amount of customers. Tables were left dirty because no one was available to clean. They would have benefited from having a few waitresses, not just the 2 bartender and one person bring out the food on a night where they were packed with college students.
Not bad but will probably stick to going to the Cranston location.

Stopped in because we were in Smithfield. My wife says the place had a funky order that she could put her finger on. The food was good, the beer was cold. So in my book it was good, but my wife wasn’t impressed. The waitress was new so she wasn’t too sure about items on the menu. Whenever we looked over to her she would run over and ask if we needed anything. I did ask for BBQ sauce and a water but never got it. They should have a Trainer with her until she knows the entire menu cover to cover.

We had a good time. This is a loud restaurant with kids running around on a Saturday night so be warned lol Our bartender was really nice and super helpful. We ordered the Saint margherita pizza and parmesan and rosemary fries. I really liked the pizza however, the fries were cold and it seemed like they were sitting for a bit and then parmesan cheese and rosemary was tossed on top of them. Don’t get me wrong, they were good but just cold. If you like loud places it’s not bad. I Prefer something a little quiet however, I will definitely be back.

Went to the Smithfield location to watch the Patriots play off game.
1) Could barely find a barstool that wasn’t ready to fall apart. Waitress said they have to keep throwing them out.
2) Mens room was so filthy I almost considered leaving.
3) Pretty much every television was off sync with the others, so you would hear people yelling for a touchdown about 15 seconds before it even happened on the TV you were watching.
4) Food was overpriced and not to proper temp.
All said, extremely dissatisfied with this place.

We had an away hockey game at Smithfield Arena. We called the day before to make a reservation but that seemed unnecessary because there is all kinds of room.

They were so accommodating especially for a group of 8 year olds. We grouped the kids on one end and the adults on the other. What was really unique is they did separate checks based on the players number to keep the orders organized.

If we ever play there again we will be stopping in!!!
