The food was tasty, the staff was welcoming, and the ambiance was nice. Only a small hiccup with a mistake in the sides with the burger and the temperature of the meat. Otherwise, everything else was great. They did comp our drinks and offer dessert on the house. That was much appreciated. It’s worth stopping in for a bite to eat if you’re in the area or passing through.

It’s a dive bar, but it’s a classic dive bar that you have to go to if you are in the area. If you are in the area, you are likely just passing through. The beer is ok, the service at the tables is friendly but slow (sit at the very small bar if you can), the food is pub fare average, and the “casino room” (a few slot machines) is lame, BUT, this place have been around for over 100 years and you have to come here for a beer!!

The atmosphere and service was really great. This isn’t fine dining and it’s definitely lives up to the name. I had the ribeye and it was what I expected, so no it wasn’t the best I had but remember it’s a saloon. Live music was really awesome and folksy. The locals were very inviting and entertaining. I recommend going for drinks and apps.

Visiting from UK. Great authentic stop for refreshments. No dogs inside and no food being served outside during our visit. So, We found a BBQ Cafe around the block. Cool and atmospheric interior. Music venue too with outside seating and bleachers.

The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, although had a lot of flies pestering us. It’s very cute inside, good decorations and the beer offerings were good. However, the food was very bland, our orders were mostly wrong. Service was awful. Our server wouldn’t listen to our orders, wasn’t courteous and severely lacked in customer service. Part of our orders were brought to our table in pieces for some reason or order completely forgotten. Would not recommend this place.

Melody was simply fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great and it was definitely the happening place around. Being from Texas, we are used to big things as well as good food. The ribeye was amazing as well as the pork chop. Servings where huge, and we couldn’t eat it all but we sure tried! Highly recommend!!!!

On vacation and just stopped in because I was told it was a “MUST SEE”. We waited 10+ mins for a server as I finally stood up and asked where one was. And the hostess who sat us never got us drink orders but kindly did the next couple that walked in behind us. They cleaned a big table and had drinks ready for that party before we even got a server to wait on us. Both my sons ordered their steaks medium. One of theirs was RARE and when sent back, it came back pretty much the same. My food was cold and not good. Obviously we will not be back.

This is a great little town with lot of character. The Old Saloon is very well maintained and clean for it’s age. The food is good, not great. Our waitress was great but the general service is rather dirty-handed. Let me explain.
