The food was very good. I had breakfast burger. However you order your burgers for doneness order one up. I usually order medium on burgers and it came out more medium rare. The meat was delicious, good quality. My wife had the bbq chicken salad. The chicken was very good on this salad. My son create his own. This is a cool feature that you can be a sandwich artist, sorry Subway. Fill out a sheet to create your own. The service was the only down fall here. Waiter came to table to ask if we were good when we sat. We had to ask for drinks. They just didn’t come back as often as they should have. Saw one family have to stand to be able to pay. Food was worth another trip.

For me it is the best burger in the city. We tried different burger restaurants and ended up loving this place. The burgers on the menu are great, but you can create your own burger as well. Since you are allowed to add as many toppings as you like, the burgers become, really big, really fast. We loved the experience and the taste. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves burgers.

Yesterday me, my sister and our friend visited The Counter for the first time. Thanks to the care of the administrator and the waiter, we got the feeling that we had come to our favorite place. Everything we ordered was very tasty and made from fresh ingredients. The burgers were exactly the roast that we ordered, the burgers were juicy, fragrant and tasty. The French fries was great: cut into small slices, which made me very happy, deliciously cooked [not overdried] and lightly sprinkled with paprika. We regretted that we only ordered one serving of it. We will definitely visit The Counter again when we will be in NY after week.

Stumbled upon this place staying in Times Square and my niece asking for a burger for dinner. The reviews are spot on. The service I had from our waitress was a bit blah, but the other staff and the person running the food seemed to offer better service.

Visiting Times Square this is a great little spot to stop. Wife and I had a Breakfast burger, Chx Bacon Ranch and shared the loaded tots (sides are extra so best to share). Kids had Grilled Cheese Trifecta and custom burger then topped it off with Birthday cake shakes. Food was great! We all ate for $120 not bad for a NYC sit down in Times Square!

Great gluten free customizable burger options, I got an impossible burger with a lot of toppings, my husband and I were not disappointed. This was my first time at The Counter and his first time in NYC, the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. My husband also had an orange float.

Fascinating!!! They were able to seat and serve my friend, and I quickly, despite being packed. The food was delicious, and meat juicy and savory. The waitress was incredibly helpful, and kind! Even holding on to a bag I accidentally left behind until we could come back and grab it! The only downside is the wish I could’ve given our waitress a bigger tip!
