This was my first time going to Popeyes and it will be the last! The worst customer service of anyplace I’ve ever been to! While ordering in drive thru they switched between 2 different people and one we couldn’t even understand. Then we had to sit and wait 20 minutes for our food. When we got home it was ALL wrong! We had ordered 2 kids meals, we only got 1. So we had one little girl who didn’t get her dinner, shame one you for not paying attention!! On top of that, the receipt said there was a toy included with the kids meal which we did not recieve. Popeyes, you need to properly train your employees and make sure they know how to hear and take food orders before turning them loose!!!

Ok Popeye’s what were y’all thinking?!?? The $5 box might be worth it if it had a side but look at these tiny tenders I won’t be coming back never again!! Def not worth no $5!! At least the service was good tonight that was the only thing!!

My family usually take time out to travel all the way to crown point for the the best Popeyes location in the region, but this time we simply didnt have the time.
The food was very subpar. Chicken was very greasy, soggy, and nowhere near fresh. Biscuits were hard. We had a coupon that included 2 large sides but we received a box with a small handful of fries and a cup of red beans n rice that was barely 3/4 full. The box of chicken was handed to us falling apart already. Just not pleasant at all. Just further solidified that we will continue to drive to crown point because the food and service is night and day difference. Sad but true

Everyone was very nice even when other customers were not so nice. The food was fresh and they were very fast and made sure everything was made fresh. Liz/biz the lady who was working I apologize for not remembering thire exact names but it was also geovonie and I believe chris maybe again i apologize were all incredible. Would highly recommend

Have never had a great experience here. More than 1 occasions they ran out of chicken. But TODAY I ordered online 30 minutes early and it was not ready when I arrived. I still waited approximately 10 minutes for my order.Young lady working looked overwhelmed over worked and exhausted trying to manage drive thru,the register and preparing orders. Come on do better this is ridiculous.

They have 2 people working. I get that so I waited patiently for me mobile order. After waiting 10 minutes while 9 other people got waited on I finally asked for my order. The order had been sitting out the entire time. I asked them to remake it. The female got made and slammed my new order into the bag. This is after waiting an additional 12 minutes for her to make it. I feel like my request wasn’t unreasonable and I waited patiently through the entire ordeal. I get that you are short staffed and I deserve hot food that I paid for. Both can true.

On 12/8 I placed an order in the drive through for a 2 piece spicy with a thigh and a wing. I get all the way home and find that I have a breast and a wing and neither piece is spicy. I decide I’m going to call the next morning because there are a lot of kids working and I receive the most trifling attitude from the store manager. She’s Spanish and the minute I ask to speak with her she goes into Latino mode. Instead of taking accountability she puts the blame on me basically saying I should have brought the food back and called that night. I live in Gary so I was not driving back to Merrillville and I’m definitely not calling to argue with no daycare children. I asked if there was a problem because I was calling her to resolve the issue and she says no WITH AN ATTITUDE!!! She finally ends up telling me I can come get a replacement and when I get there her attitude goes into full effect AGAIN!! The employee who took the receipt from me was nicer than her. He mentioned that I also had a red beans and rice and her response was, “Nah. She only getting the spicy chicken.” Miserable cause you work in fast food and you’re not even worthy of working there!!!! Yall hire anybody with a pulse!! Then yall have the nerve to not have a 1-800 number for customers to call because you know it would be a hotline!!! Ain’t ever gotta worry about me coming back!

Well, to be honest, this was the worst Popeye experience I have ever had. To begin with, they didn’t have enough chicken. I waited for a really long time for my order. I was told there weren’t any breasts in the last batch cooked. That meant I was there while two batches cooked. I lost track of time I was there so long. I waited patiently since I had paid. While waiting, I observed the lights over the service counter were all broken, not good because the broken glass shades were right over the counter where food was presented. Secondly, I noticed the place was not clean. This isn’t good for a place that serves food. They also wanted exact change unless you used a credit card. As a sorry for the inconvenience, I was given one chicken wing, and a large fountain soda, instead of the medium size that came with my meal, along with my order. You can see from the photos that the place needs to be cleaned and fixed up. I don’t plan to go here for food again. I wonder if the manager is aware of the conditions at this location.

So after my last horrible experiences long wait times and not getting my order correct. I decided to give my Merrillville location another try after telling myself I would never go back and drive out of my way to the new Crown Point location. So on and off over the last 3 months, I have going there for lunch for myself and picking up dinner for the family in the evening.I must say things have changed there greatly over the last 3 months. Hot food received in a timely manner, Friendly staff, clean environment. Even on a short staff days things are improving every time I go. Great job!

I ordered two three piece meals. I received two pieces in each meal. I called to report the issue. No one answered. Additionally, the chicken was old. There is no way the chicken should have looked and tasted like this. The restaurant had only been open for a few hours.
