The food here is definitely some of the best Mexican food here in SD. And our server was very good. His story is great – was customer and loved the food so much started working there. And he’s Mexican. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the front of house was very stingy giving us heaters on what must have been one of the coldest evenings of the year (low 50s and windy at 6pm). We asked several times because our kids (2 and 7 were freezing and there was no room inside. Just felt chintzy and lacking hospitality considering they had additional heaters. Even our waiter was a bit shocked. We had to leave early because we were too cold which was disappointing. Nevertheless, the food was very good and we live in LA and have a high expeditions for Mexican food.

I had a taste for Spinach Dip and Queso with my tortilla chips. You won’t get that here but i chose my other favorites to try. The tortilla chips are too thick for my liking. The black beans were flavorful and the grilled corn was very good. The fish in my Baja Taco was cooked to perfection but it lacked seasoning leaving the dish bland. The serving size of the sides was generous so they are shareable. The place including the bathroom is very clean. Our server was very personable and thoughtful. The ambiance of the outside seating is very appealing! I didn’t have a drink but they looked great!

My kids and I, plus my sister and nephew, absolutely loved this place! Salsa was out of this world! We got the carnitas bowls. Wow! So so so good! The waitress was lovely and kind, just a little relaxed on refills and getting us boxes. It was busy, so I didn’t really blame her. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot!

Our hotel front desk person recommended this place and it was amazing! My husband and I tried six different tacos and we decided our favorites were: 1) Chicken Al Pastor, 2) Mushroom and 3) Filet Mignon. We also tried the Fish, Shrimp, and Lamb. They were all good and I did not regret ordering them, but the first three were our favorites. We also got the extra salsa and the green one is so refreshing! Carmen provided great service. We will definitely be coming here again.

I was not super impressed by this place. We tried the lobster guacamole, which was fine, somewhat bland, not great, and then I had a fish taco and a side of black beans, which seemed heated up from a can. and my husband had a filet mignon taco and shrimp taco. he thought the tacos were really great. My fish taco was good too, but somewhat under seasoned. The beans were also not seasoned well. I think they could improve by just putting some salt shakers on the tables if they don’t want to put a lot of seasoning or salt in their food. for what wound up to be an almost $100 meal it was underwhelming.

If I could give 10 Stars I would. The service was the best we’ve ever had, our server was hilarious. We absolutely loved her! The location of this restaurant is tucked away like a little slice of heaven. The food was to die for. Quite honestly the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. This particular night of our vacation in San Diego, at this restaurant will forever be my favourite. It was pure magic. Thank you so much for an incredible experience! If we ever find ourselves in San Diego again, we’re coming back for sure!

It’s located inside a small but beautiful shopping mall. It has delicious veggie tacos but too much cheese. Definitely ask to remove cheese if prefer healthier food. Both veggie and mushroom tacos are good. We liked the margarita too. It was happy hour so we got it half off. The potato appetizer (don’t remember the name) was also half priced and everyone liked it. The appetizer comes with a delicious salad and souces on the side. You can order chips and salsa with a variety of special sauces, definitely recommended. Service was great. It has a lively vibe too. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely go back on our next trip to San Diego. Parking is also available right outside the mall.

Great find! The strawberry margarita was perfect, not overly sweet. Chicken pastor, carnitas, and short rib tacos were all excellent. I prefer crispy cheese on the tacos to the typical loose sprinkles at other places. The taco shells are street size but they are packed full!
