Oh Lawd! It’s so hard to find good soul food in the area and the disappointment is REAL with this one. I don’t know where to begin. The yams were so candied it tasted like I put a spoon directly in sugar and inserted it in my mouth. The black eyed peas were beyond salted to the point you are squeezing your cheeks together in attempt to melt away the bitterness and the Mac and cheese…… WHY!?!?!? Sweet baby Jesus why?!?? The Mac and cheese was dryer than the mighty Sahara. Then they have the gull to sprinkle some additional hard crispy shredded cheese on the top and razzle dazzle it with oil. Sigh. Unfortunately, Tellys was a full and utter disappointment for us. Customer service was good though and the chicken tacos were decent. I don’t think soul food is their thing. Anyone claiming this place has good food has never been to the south, midwest or has a gramma that cooks on Sundays after church.

If you haven’t already checked out this GEM in Moreno Valley YOU’RE MISSING OUT. The food is fresh and cook to order. The customer service is PHENOMENAL. The prices are decent especially dealing with a soul food and seafood restaurant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if you’re in the area and want some good seafood/soul food to warm up your soul make a pit stop during your day and try this outstanding food.

Fist time here food was amazing and for the price even better! I got the cat fish poboy and deep-fried lobster fries! might be lobster or langostines, but for the price, I’m fine with either one. What I love about this Place they cook the food fresh! You can see them literally cooking it. Not like other places where they buy their fish is already battered and frozen. My only recommendation is to make the poboy bigger and charge more for it.

Ordered the blackened salmon soul fries. I LOVE fish and I have no faith in fast food fish in principle but I thought I’d give this place a chance. Mama Mia am I glad I did. Fish was flavorful and cooked very well. Fries were a tad undercooked but that’s forgiveable given they did such a good job with the salmon. The first all in one but had a surprising sweetness but it was far from unwelcome. Very filling, very good for the price, definitely recommend if you work at the mall or happen to be stopping by.

I seen the advertisement of this restaurant on Fb, so I had to go check it out. I ordered the shrimp and grits meal. I also wanted to try the peach cobbler, but there wasn’t any. The food was sooooo good and they give you a decent portion size. I wish my grits were a little bit more hot, but other than that I would definitely go back. Oh and my strawberry lemonade Kool aid was delicious, brought back childhood memories

Great food, great staff, great experience. About 2 days ago we went here and met 2 super nice people who were patient with me and my friend while we asked questions and got money for our order. So many options for both of us, though we both ordered Cajun rice and macaroni. I got some potato salad and my friend got fries. It was the best soul food we ever had, and we can’t stop raving about the corn bread! Neither of us like cornbread usually, but this was so darn good! 10 out of 10 will definitely be eating here again.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place was highly disappointing. I was denied my change because they didn’t have it in their register. I was called up to get my order only to find out it wasn’t ready. So I had to sit back down. The food was of poor quality. Mac n cheese was dry, the biscuit was stale. They didn’t have any greens so I was left to choose a garden salad because I didn’t want all starches. The so called garden salad was simply from a ready made bag. No tomatoes and no dressing. Just plain and dry. The watermelon kool-aid tasted like syrup. The fish was not full pieces but nuggets and not crispy. I enjoy supporting black owned businesses but because of this type of service, I find great reluctance and reservations! I’ll tell everyone I know about my experience and I’ll never support this place again. It has actually made it bad for other businesses that might be 10 times better than Telly’s!

5 star customer service and the food is on point. I ordered the catfish combo. With peach cobbler, banana pudding poud cake, baked beans, black eyed peas and macaroni. I felt some type of way about the size on the pieces of fish and the owner communicated clearly and respectfully even gave me another piece of fish and a new cake coming out! The food is on point exactly what I was looking for, thank you again.

At the Moreno valley Mall food court There are restaurants that we’ve all tasted that we wish stayed here. Telly’s table seafood is definitely a place that you want to be here in the long run. It’s not often you eat food that has a true black flavor palette to it. If you love old soul food, like good old soul food. I highly recommend you come through here and try this place out. Help them become a staple in the Moreno valley Mall. This is truly homegrown food that you can tell was passed down from generation to generation. This isn’t your regular restaurant this is food crafted from the soul.
