This place was my absolutely favorite place at the NBTX farmers market. Every Saturday morning I would walk over and get lumpia and a big homemade cinnamon roll. So much so that the owner remembered me every week, called me by name, and always gave great service. Now they have a brick and mortar and in such a cool spot. Looking over the Comal River, you can enjoy spectacular Caribbean food and drinks for a great price.

I had a friend refer The Golden Pineapple for lunch. My husband and I tried it yesterday and we will def be going back. I wanted to order the whole menu! Haha The ceviche was delicious! We also had the amazing lumpias, steak and chicken kabobs, fried plantain and the home made fruit juices. Loved it all! If you like spice you can ask for more spice but be careful because they can use Serrano peppers if you want it really hot! Will def be back!

Such a wonderfully unique experience to dine here! You can literally taste the love in the food. The thoughtful, healthy and locally sourced ingredients make these dishes sing. And they are always served with kindness and a warm smile by Christelle. We love to support local by eating here. Our favorite menu item is the hamburger, so juicy and flavorful! Let me tell you, I have been to a lot of places and dined all around. The golden pineapple is my absolute favorite. It is my new go to the place I bring all of my visitors. The lumpia’s are incredible also, those cinnamon rolls are to die for!

The food is amazing, the presentation photo worthy and Chef Christelle creates and amazing atmosphere no matter where she’s bringing you flavor. We had her in our office for Juneteenth for a live presentation and she brought it!!!! If you haven’t tasted her cuisine, what are you waiting for?!

Wow. That’s the way I’d describe this place in one word. First the service is amazing. If you get the owner she lives up to what she says, she cooks with love. Her service is very friendly and it’s very authentic. The food….lol. Wow. Foremost the kabob are out of this world. I got the steak ones but next time I’ll try the chicken ones but it’s juicy and has this great home cook taste you just can’t beat. It’s like you got an aunt or uncle who’s so good at cooking but now you have access to it way more frequently! The ceviche was the next incredible menu item. It was fresh and super flavorful and it’s made right then and there. It on a hot day will cool you down and feels so healthy. I love it. The salmon poke not my most favorite but I finished it. It was different but I liked it a lot not same reaction as kabob and ceviche and lumpia. Lastly lumpia was amazing too. She offered home made lemonades, passion fruit and strawberry that you could buy and man I loved the passion fruit one. Lol I spent more money than I thought I would but I am full and really feel like I ate food that was made with love. New Braunfels we are really lucky to have this place! There’s not much great options in this town. I think muck and fuss and mcadoo is over rated but this place deserves it’s over 50 perfect 5 star rating on google. It’s amazing! She deserves business enough to get her in creekside in a huge restaurant! That’s what I hope she aspires for as life will be further made if she does. I’m rooting for ya. Good food is good food and that is this! More people got to know about this legendary food! Wish hours and prices were more accommodating but I get it. I’m a huge fan–I’ll be back many times! Hope you do a grill fish option, that’d be amazing!

We got a burger and some egg rolls. The burger was the best! Egg rolls were very good, too. I’ve had the mango salsa before. It is delicious! Will definitely get that next time!

I could write about so many of the foods that Christelle (owner and chef) makes at the Golden Pineapple. My all time favorite thing I have ever tasted of hers, and top 2 favorite deserts in the world is her coconut flan. It. Is. Incredible. She makes great cinnamon rolls and grilled chicken and so much more. She is an incredibly talented chef. If you are in New Braunfels, do yourself a favor and eat here.

Christelle’s food is some of the best in town. My son fell in love with her cooking 6 years ago and looks forward to every lumpia. The chicken kabob is always perfectly cooked. Great food with river views!
