This includes remodeling our interior (we sadly had to say goodbye to our floating bamboo boats), improvements to our menu, and changing our name to Kuma Sushi.

Vast food , good prices and everything tasted good. Restrooms were very cleaned even tough they have short staff. Waitress was super fast to servers and clear explaining some menu options

We waited a long time for our table as well as for our menus. After we ordered, the food took an even longer time to come. We asked for straws and she threw down unwrapped straws with her bare-hand onto the dirty table. The waiters were all indifferent to what we were saying and had us waiting 10 minutes more for our ginger. My STRICTLY vegetarian friend ordered something and asked the waiter multiple times to ensure it was vegetarian. She was horrified to find a piece of meat hanging on her supposed, VEGETARIAN sushi roll. The only thing saving this review was the food.

This is a really uneven place. The sushi is terrific on the boats one time and then the selection sucks another day. Ordering off the menu tends to be better. Service is generally slow and not proactive. There are little booths available for non boat sushi meals. You pay by the color of the plates you take off the boats to eat.

*Suspiciously scrumptious salad dressing* The ambience is not as nice as Furo Sato, but they are a good value and I’ve found their quality to be very consistent over the past 15 years. They are technically located in Westgate mall, though their entry/exit is on the outside. Mall traffic demographics mean you’re more likely to encounter screaming kids here, compared to some other sushi places. It just comes with the territory. They often play some sort of 90’s rock/alternative music; whether that’s good or bad is up to you. They do have some nice spacious booths, which offer more privacy and a slight sound buffer.

A decent sushi place in the mall. You can order by the bar, where sushi rides boats in a carousel. Or you can order from the menu, where there are more varieties beyond sushi, such as teriyaki, ramen, and don. We ordered some basic sushi, a teriyaki, and a sashimi combo. The taste is not bad, price is reasonable, and portion is good.

The conveyor belt being boats is cute. The small play corner is great for toddlers. The variety on the belt could be a bit more impressive which makes it a 4 instead of a 5 for a fast-food sushi place.

Sushi is good, avoid the fry dishes as they’re likely cold and soggy. Severely understaffed in the waitstaff but dishes are plenty in the boat.

Price is very good with huge amount especially the lunch bento. But they need to work on the freshness of sashimi.

Terrible quality food. The wait staff had no idea about ingredients or food allergies. When I requested her to check with the chef if there was gluten in a dish, she rolled her eyes and went to check. She came back and said the cooks don’t speak English because they’re Mexican so she can’t check and the manager isn’t there.
