we had a few appetizers and shared the fish and chips entree. the food was good but expensive. some of the mussels in our app were sandy, disappointing. our waitress was completely absent and we ended up having to get another waitress to take care of our table, she was great. the outside seating was really nice but the bar was divey and pretty rowdy. good selection on liquors, beers and specialty cocktails though.

We really hate to complain but maybe the owners will read this review and take some action so as not to ruin the evening of another family who just want a relaxing meal with a view.We arrived as a group of ten of which two were children. We requested an outside table which was ready upon our arrival, but the plastic white chairs must have been pulled out of storage as they were MOLDY and one had ketchup over the back section. The service was okay but from the start one could feel the tension that was going on at this place. The waitress kept on apologizing for food appetizers not cooked as ordered. The main dishes took close to one hour to prepare from the time the appetizers were finally served and then came out incorrectly. Lobster roll was terrible as lobster was overcooked and not very much of it, the flounder was swimming in butter that was cold and becoming hard, etc. etc. Once again the tension was obvious. We really never complained as it would have been to our waitress who clearly sensed how uncomfortable we were. No manager ever came to our table. We left after we ate without ordering desert as we were uptight and had already been there over two hours!…something is wrong with this place and my guess it is in the kitchen and the way this place is managed. We will not return as there are plenty of shoreline places where the food is better and scenery as good…

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner to this restaurant. The food was was just plain disgraceful. My wife ordered the 14 oz. New York Strip medium / well. For $23.95 she was greeted with a well done steak that was tough, tasted like liver, and had little other flavoring and was extremely dry. A butter sauce was put over it possibly in the hopes to off set the dryness. The sides were fine, scalloped potatoes and green beans. Difficult to screw up vegetables.
