Went for lunch, looking for something different. The server was very friendly and helpful. Suggested a few things but decided on chicken seekh Kebob, had Veggi Samosa along with some rice and pita bread. Not being accustomed to curry, it was a bit overpowerful, which I know they would adjust without hesitation. Other then that, it was amazing! Very flavorful and tasty. My friend had a different dish, which was as good as mine! The overall feel is similar to a Mexican style store where you can buy a meal to sit down and eat, or take out. Sher-E does offer take out, dine in, and I saw they’re using Uber Eats. If looking for Punjab food, I’d give this quaint place a try. Also got a good deal from the store side for some roasted/salted peanuts

Truly a gem when traveling to Fresno! It’s hard to find food that reminds you of home, more so when you’re on a road trip, but Sher e Punjab born only manages to do that but also provide a hospitable and welcoming environment to all those who shop or eat here. Highly recommend enjoying the food here after a long day!

It was probably some of the best and most authentic Punjabi food I have had anywhere, including India. The proprietor was a wonderful host, and we even saw him offering to feed a waiting delivery driver who didn’t have anything to eat himself. Do stop by if you get the chance, and just follow his recommendations if you’re not sure what to get (this is how we got to enjoy some specials, like their fantastic chhole bhature)!

absolutely love dining at this Indian restaurant! The Cholai Bhatura and Thava Rotti are simply delightful – bursting with authentic flavors that transport me back to India. The manager, Manpreeth, adds a personal touch to the experience with his warm and welcoming demeanor. His genuine hospitality truly makes every visit special. This place has become my go-to spot for delicious Indian cuisine and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

I have tried many Indian food places and this one is one of my favorites! I went for lunch in which I only had 30 minutes to indulge. Come to find out that they had a whole buffet ready to be served. This restaurant/market is the only place around fresno that has a buffet. I usually only order butter chicken, basmati rice, and garlic naan so, I was super excited to try new dishes without the feeling of taking a risk when doing so. If you are looking to go out of the norm and try new types of food this is the place to be. I was very satisfied with the taste of the food and the service was great. I didn’t order any water but the man at the register brought me some anyways. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in at the Samosa Hut. It may be a little hole in the wall and it’s not too pretty, but some of the best authentic Samosas I have ever enjoyed. The lady who owns it and cooks, is from Nepal. Beautiful sweet lady who knows how to cook. Get it on Doordash with confidence, they are absolutely delicious!
