First and LAST time we will ever set foot in this place. We sat at the bar, I ordered a double vodka, and I was given a sip in a glass (see picture). There were about 30 people in the establishment on a Sunday evening, including the live band. We ordered food at 6:15, and it took about 50 minutes before we ever received our meal. We literally watched the grill cook slap a frozen hamburger patty on the grill and flip it four times until it was a brick. It then sat on the grill for 10 minutes while other patrons meals were plated. I’ve seen turtles move faster than the grill cook, and the bartender was oblivious, hardly ever looked up or made eye contact with customers.

A great friend led us here on our ride today and we loved it! 2 seconds through the door and we were talking to everyone and sharing stories. Hands down my new favorite bar close to new hope. And the ride to get there was amazing! Service was super on point and everything tasted great. Will be back soon. Love u guys!

This is a classic neighborhood bar — you walk in and are greeted immediately. Get a shot and a beer, and talk to your neighbor. Have a cigarette if that’s your thing – smoking’s allowed. There’s a good selection of liquour and bar food. We had the grilled cheese, which our bartender told us she had to wrestle with the cantankerous grill until she mastered it. It’s in an adorable stone building butted right up against the road. Everybody was really friendly.

Went to see a favorite band but there is so little seating in the main room we sat at the bar. Within a half hour the crowd was 3 deep at the bar and it was impossible to get service We left after 1 beer . It was so loud we couldn’t here the band anyway.

Great chicken cheese steak & Baco cheese burger! Elizabeth is nice. Good selection of liquor and beer. Corner bar feel.

The Classic Bucks County Tavern. In operation since the 1700’s. The grill is behind the bar and usually operated by the bar tender. It is fun to sit and watch the food being made. Cheesesteaks and Burgers are the staples. Beer is cold, and they actually have some good brews on tap. But the best part is whoever is in the bar that night. The stories and the personalities are more entertaining than any sitcom on television. Oh, and the music. Always some good music at the Nest. I have heard amazing blues jams over the years.

A favorite in the neighborhood. I was only there once during the day, but I was there with a local customer who loves the place. The beer selection was okay. Not a huge selection on tap, but plenty of bottles to choose from. The dining room has an area for live music. It looks like it might be a fun place for music. There is a pool table, a brass ring game inside and lighted horseshoe pits outside in the back. Very nice people. The Raven’s Nest definitely caters to the local community and it’s regular customers so it probably does pretty well. If your looking for some local flavor in Quakertown, then you will likely enjoy this place.

Seemed like a decent crowd. Good bet selection. Food was step below country place so don’t go for that. With just a little effort there could have some nice food. And be at 5 stars
