This place is a hidden gem!! Better than Starbucks!! Delicious food and drinks! They have breakfast, lunch and a delicious array of pastries! We had breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, and coffee! They also have juice and sodas. They even have their own branded coffee beans to take home! The place was clean and adorable! Lajoy herself was friendly and personable. I will definitely be back!! Also, they are open 6am -4pm!

Great quiet atmosphere in a quiet residential area on Lackland. As I stated before. But not only are the Carmel Macchiatos better than ⭐bucks but so was the Turkey,Egg and Cheese croissant. If you haven’t made your way here you need to make this a priority.

My fiance and I visited for coffee and were very pleased with our visit. I absolutely love to see Black businesses thriving and treating customers well. The establishment was very clean, well kept, and peaceful. Staff was extremely pleasant, including the owner, LaJoy. This place is a gem! We will definitely be back( once we have completed our fast)! If you haven’t stopped here, please do! You won’t be disappointed!

This is a cute little cafe with good coffee and tasty snacks. There was a small misunderstanding because I called in advance regarding blended coffee drinks but they did not have them when I thought they did. The iced mocha was delicious so it made up for it & we’re g2g! I also got a breakfast sandwich and the bagel was not toasted like I would have hoped but I think it’s normally served on a croissant.

If you like coffee because of the creamer, then this place is for you! I ordered a chai and it was WAAAY to sweet. It was undrinkable. It didn’t feel like the kind of place you can say “I don’t like my drink can I try something else” and be met with generosity. So I donated $7 to a local business, that helps me smile about it. Atmosphere was cute and well maintained (clean). It’s small inside but comfortable seating. Their pastries looked good but since I am gluten free, I could not partake. No gluten free options.

The honey vanilla latte was outstanding. Enjoyed talking to owner and her daughter about their vision for their new venture. I was impressed by care and effort they put into the shop. I will be back. Highly recommend.
