Great tasting clam chowder bowl and homemade crabcakes! The bread bowl was humongous, perfectly crisped on the outside and very soft on the inside. The serving is large enough to feed two to three individuals. The size of the crabcake patties were made so thick yet they were cooked perfectly. Again the portion is big enough to feed a party of two to three people. Although the Aiea location is small, the setting affords a family like atmosphere. There were two servers on the night we visited. Our waiter Preston was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He went around and greeted and talked with all the customers as if he knew each of us personally. We definitely plan to come back to try other items on the menu!

Went at 6 on a Saturday. It was packed, seats approximately 20 people max, but the wait was still short, about 5 minutes for our party of 4. The restaurant is BYOB, but there is a well stocked liquor store in the same shipping center. We had the beer battered mussels, Crab cakes , and split 2 “pick 3 ” specials. The mussles were fantastic. Piping hot and fresh out of the drier with a tasty batter. The crab cakes are extremely tasty without the dipping sauce, melting in your mouth. The (sirachi mix?) Pink sauce is the way to go with the cakes. I reccommend bringing a sour ale if you order fried items, as it compliments the flavours perfectly. main meals are served in bags, like a home style bayou Louisiana crab boil and soak. Very messy, but well worth wearing the bib and gloves for. I reccommend getting the “ragin’ Cajun” at a hot level if you’re looking for a real Creole taste. The medium heat is about a 4/10 and the hot is about a 6/10 for heat (1 being not noticable, 10 being un-eatable hot). Price wise, the dishes are extremely fair- the market prices of shellfish has gone up significantly over the years, but this restaurant is within 5% of what you can buy the uncooked seafood for. That being said, expect about $25 to $30 per person.
