We are that hometown Diner where everyone knows your name! Everything that can be homemade is homemade. We roll out our own fresh hamburgers each day, and we make our own BBQ. Scrambled dogs, scrambled burgers, and scrambled salads are what we do different than most everyone else! Our prices are reasonable, and our customer service second to none. My first time going here. If you are into the local football team this place is for you. This place has a great nostalgic vibe somewhere between the diners and drive ins of the 50’s and 60’s with music from the 80’s. The meal was great and the service friendly. I plan to go again.

We were never acknowledged greeted or spoken to other than what do you want. The staff was not happy when I asked to some ketchup packets because the ketchup on the tables in the dispenser smelled sour. I was told they just got filled this morning. When our food was ready they just came and set it on the table walked away didn’t ask if we need anything else. The food was very greasy The kids dog had a sour taste to it and we were not very keen on their french fries. The server said that her driver had arrived and if we left a tip the other two staff members could split the tip. I will definitely not be back.

This is our 3rd time stopping into this GEM, located right in town. I must say I am impressed , they stay true to their traditional style. Tonight we had the fried salmon dinner & BBQ dinner plate. YUMMY! We are rolling ourselves out of here nice and stuffed!! We will definitely be back for more, as we see ourselves becoming regulars here.

This place is awesome for home cooked food! The breakfast was so filling, delicious and cheap! Reminds you of the home cooked food you had growing up!! It’s also owned by the mayor of the town which I think is so neat! Fitzgerald is lucky to have him as a mayor! We were out of state looking to buy a home and he took time out of his day to give us all the information on the area – what a stand up down to earth guy❤️

Love the Scrambled dogs since i was a kid when it was Johnny’s. So glad that Jim &Joann opened this restaurant so Jim’s mom could make these amazing Scrambled dogs .

We enjoyed our meal at Puckett’s Place. The service was friendly & the prices are very reasonable. They are located next to the Walmart in Fitzgerald. Bruce Willis in town filming a movie.

This place is AWESOME!!! They definitely make you feel like family and friends! The food, well, it’s on a level of its own! There is eating and feeling full and there is eating great food and being full! Pucketts is definitely the later! You can taste every ingredient and one does not overpower the other, it’s the perfect blend! The people there are great! They definitely have what a lot of other food places are lacking, friendly, smiles, and caring! The young lady that was working there today kept making sure everything was great, and even laughed and joked with us! We will gladly make the 2 1/2 hour drive to come back!!! I recommend the Junkyard fries and the mayor’s burger!

Traveling through Fitzgerald, Ga during lunchtime and got a recommendation from a local at the gas station to try Puckett’s Place. It was easy to locate in the Walmart plaza. We ordered burgers, fries, and salads. Hand slapped burgers were perfect!!

Oh my stars. There’s a difference in being full and being full on amazing food. Traveling through we stopped here for lunch. A burger is a burger anywhere you go. Except here. This burger has me wanting to make a 2 1/2 drive on a regular. The junkyard fries are an absolute MUST! When we asked for a recommendation, the response was they know what they do well and they stick to it. That might as well have come down the mountain etched in the tablets because they know how to make your taste buds explode. The people were beautiful and welcoming as well. You can definitely feel they take pride in making sure you feel welcomed as if they’ve known you for years. Will absolutely be visiting again.
