From the moment we arrived, the service made a great impression. The staff member assisting us was polite and attentive, offering thoughtful dish suggestions that ended up being excellent picks. Throughout our visit, he made sure we were comfortable and enjoying everything, which added a personal touch to the entire dining experience.

Wow, I love this place. A must try the lobster ravioli, I’ll melt in your mouth. Such a delicious dish, the place is cozy, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions. Highly recommended.

Carlos & Carlos in Wilmette was a good night out. We enjoyed the beef carpaccio, linguine with clams, and the meatballs—all well-prepared. Loved the sangria, and the service was excellent. We also tried the cannoli for dessert—beautifully presented, though probably not our favorite part of the meal. Overall, a good experience!

Valentine’s Day dinner
So…first the “not too good” part. It is much smaller than on the pictures. Did not have a “white table cloth” which that what I was looking for when searching restaurants. I did not like the decor atmosphere. It sure looks more cozy in photos tho. Tables were too close to each other. We were sat right in the middle. The 2 people table is soooo tiny! I’m 50 but we were the youngest there!! Seriously! This location ( not sure about Arlington Heights) is definitely for OLDer crowd. Same with all waiters. However they definitely moved fast for their age 🙂 We stand out and felt on the spot like everyone was watching us. Weird, weird, weird. We were rushed with the order. Bread dipping oil was ..meh. Plates taken away before other person finished the meal. Not cool. Still had some wine to finish suddenly check was put on the table. FYI not that I make an excuse for them to “kick us out” but the dinning room was not completely full yet so there was no reason for to do that( not that it is at all, ever).
Now the good part. The main dish food was yum! That’s all 🙂
Will not go back there for sure cause of the whole experience. But IF you will, special occasion or not, make a reservation like I did!

My fiance and I were passing throught the area and decided to eat here last night and I’m still thinking about the amazing food we ate! We ordered penne pasta with white wine sauce and salmon and both orders were absolutley delicious and amazing presentation. The waiters were very hospitable and always making sure we had what we needed, our water was constantly being filled up. Our waiter even noticed us looking at the desert table and brought it over for us to see up close and explained each dessert to us. The cappucinos and deserts were AMAZING!! We live about an hour away but I’ll gladly make the drive here!! 10/10

What a wonderful place for a night out. We went here for a nice Valentine’s Day dinner. The server was amazing and very knowledgeable, he helped me find the perfect wine. The bread was so crunchy on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. I was so excited to try the scallops appetizer & they did not disappoint. I had the gnocchi for dinner and he had the shrimp pasta. Amazing & can’t wait to come back.

So glad to have this family back in the area! This is the second location for Carlos and Carlos and does not disappoint. Customers in the area probably remember Capriccios and they bring the same great service and outstanding food. Mario and his staff do a great job and we will be back many times. Even during this tough time they managed to open and people will be happy with Carlos and Carlos highly recommend!
