Absolutely love this place. The service is always great, and the owner is always welcoming and ready to help. Probably the best service, especially at a food truck in town. I love sitting outside in the area they have, the string lights and music make the atmosphere comfortable. All of their food is very tasty, just be aware that the ghost pepper mayo does have a bit of a kick to it (so good). Their food is always fresh and their aguas frescas are a must. I will keep coming back.

One of the brothers gave us a rundown of the menu and was super personable. Even let me try a little of the ghost pepper sauce. Mint limeade was amazing with our Sonoran dogs. Place was clean and great with our little kids. 10/10 would recommend

Woah, that’s the kind of experience that makes me want to move to Las Cruces! The food was unique and served with perfection, the atmosphere was quaint, comfortable and fun, but best of all was the service! For a food truck, I was shocked because this place knows how to greet you with warmth, show you the ropes if you’re new, and serve like pros. I’ll be back here every time I’m in town, that’s a promise.

Traveling back to Houston from San Diego, we stopped in Las Cruces for the night and decided to give this spot a try—and we’re so glad we did!

The entire staff was incredibly friendly, walking us through the menu and explaining the different combo options. We even met the owner, who was genuinely grateful for our visit and shared that their business thrives on word of mouth. It was clear they take pride in what they do.

The hot dogs were absolutely fantastic, and the fries were cooked to perfection. As a delightful bonus, we were served complimentary buñuelos with our meal—it was the cherry on top!

This is a family-operated food truck that makes everyone feel welcome. If you’re ever in Las Cruces, do yourself a favor and stop by to support them. Highly recommended!

Ya’ll, I was too fast and too furious with this one. I gobbled first and asked questions later. Readers, you may ask, “was it good? But Ale, was it worth it?” The answer is yes. Quest no more however for I have a vague but fleeting memory of it. We were late on the road to ABQ, and for some reason, we were craving hot dogs… again. Listen, our family can crave a dog like nobody’s business (is it a Mexican/ chihuahua thing? Is it in our genes? Feel free to comment cause we crave hot dogs and eat sausage about once a week). Google pointed us in the direction of Lalo’s Sonora Style Dogs in Las Cruces with the promise of primo dogs and patio chillness, so we had to stop by. We do believe we met THE Lalo, and his customer service was on point. So was the food and so were the aguas frescas. We had the Sonora dogs (8/10) and the Elote/Asadero fries (10/10) and an agua de coco and de piña (both 10/10). Be advised, the bread is not your standard hot dog bun, don’t say I didn’t warn you, it’s different, but good. Food came out quick, it went down the gullet quick and I wish I had more to say about that but all I felt at the end was a full belly and a happy feeling. Thank you Lalo.

Never thought I’d give 5 stars to atmosphere for a food truck, but they nailed it! Very cozy place to eat. We came after dark and it still felt very warm and safe. Service was excellent. Agua fresca was the best I’ve ever had (I ordered the Jamaica–hibiscus with spices). I’ve tried and failed to replicate it at home. I wish I lived closer so I could have access to this place all the time!

We were in Las Cruces for 2 days all the way from Pittsburgh, PA and this was near where we were staying. We ordered 3 different dogs, a burger, fries, and agua frescas. The dogs were unique and delicious. The fries and burger were also on point. The agua frescas were amazing and so refreshing. Everyone we interacted there was also super friendly and helpful.

We may not ever be back in Las Cruces again, but glad we got to experience this place while we were here!

Great Sonoran style (bacon wrapped hot dog that is fried) hot dog, had the Sonora (Fresh beans, onions, green salsa, tomatoes, Mayo, and mustard) and the Vaquero Chile (Beans and Chorizo, roasted green Chile, and cheese). Both were good but like the Vaquero more, too many toppings for my liking on the Sonora, though it was still good. Owner is a really nice guy, location is odd. Recommend.
