I took my son out for breakfast as I have the day off, and went to Perkins for my favorite egg and cheese omelet. We were seated right away, waitress very nice and we had our food in like 5 minutes!! Meals were delicious and coffee was the best.

I ate Perkins in Mansfield and Northfield on 2 separate days but at both I had the California Benedict. Service for both places was very slow. I have to say the Benedict at Mansfield was better. The waitress at Northfield spent time talking with the locals while I tried multiple times to get a check. After she finished she dropped it without a word.

I love their lemon meringue pie and generally get that to go whenever I’m in a town with Perkins, or if we dine in. This time for whatever reason there was very little lemon filling. That is not typical.

The manager sat on his phone in the front of the restaurant the whole time we were there, and the bathrooms were absolutely TERRIBLE! They were so dirty/disgusting and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in so long.
