First snowmobile day. Great lunch. Broiled fish sandwich, slaw, fries. Had New England clam chowder. Fast service, nice people. Will definitely go again.

Food is delicious. Deserts should win awards. Atmosphere unique, cozy and view is wonderful. One of our favorite places to eat. Waitress Mary M was alone and taking care of about 30 people at once and did not miss a beat. Service was awesome. We ate a great dinner and ordered a second dinner to take home for another day.
It’s obvious from the taste and freshness this is all “home made” style food. Even the whipped cream served with the apple pie was home made from egg whites – tastes it immediately as it was like my grandmas. The restaurant is almost an hour drive for us one way but worth every minute. Beautiful ride, lakeside and passing farmers markets alone the way. Blue Canoe is awesome. Kudos to Mary M who does the work of 4 waitresses all at the same time.

We stopped here for lunch the other day and it was absolutely delicious. The food had great flavor and the portion size was spot on for the price point. On top of the food, the view. Sitting out on the deck, looking over the lake was stunning. Service was great too. 11/10. Will be back for dinner! We also got homemade dill pickles for a complimentary starter which was really neat!

Went for a late lunch with my son and enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the excellent food. It’s kind of out of the way but the drive down the little country roads make it a pleasant experience. The staff were very nice and attentive. Definitely worth the drive if your looking for something off the beaten path.

One of my favorite places, bit of a hike from anything but definitely worth it. Unassuming but good food and good vibes all around.

Delicious food, great view, and wonderful service, but incredibly expensive:
; receipt attached. 2 people drinking just water + soda water, 1 burger + 1 haddock entree, 2 desserts with gratuity was $87.93…I dine here at least once per year when visiting upstate New York but at these prices, I’m not sure I’ll continue the tradition. I guess Bidenomics is hitting everyone in a bad way

The short version is fantastic food and view, barely adequate, and often indifferent service. My wife had two appetizers that were out of this world, the two Polish dishes. I had the French onion soup and the Gorgonzola mac & cheese, which were both fantastic.

Our server, however, was indifferent in many ways. When we asked for water along with our alcoholic drinks, for example, she sort of, rolled her eyes and acted as if she was going out of her way. She never came back after serving the food to see how it was, and at the end of the meal, didn’t seem terribly interested in offering dessert. My wife overheard her telling another couple that they could stay at the table they were occupying as long as they wanted after their meal, because she didn’t want to take on anymore diners. If she’s wondering why she got a low tip, all of the above. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don’t know but the restaurant business you always have to put on your best face and remember it’s about the customer. And it’s not as if we asked for anything outrageous or outlandish.

All of that said, this is definitely a hidden gem that is out of the way, but worth finding. It’s scenic, the food was wonderful, and the owner is obviously not a New York Yankees fan and that works for me!

Nice place. Had the Dam Burger. Was pretty good. Only got like 10 French fries with my order for and extra $5 (which was a half order) felt cheap. They should take a lesson from five guys who puts a tone of fries (because they are cheap) and makes you feel like your getting a kings meal instead of an empty plate with two fork full of fires. Just saying. Otherwise was an ok place but not what it use to be.
