Great lunch option. Very friendly staff. The Italian sandwich was amazing. Plenty of fresh topping. The fries were amazing also. I would highly recommend stopping by for a great sandwich!! I’ll definitely be back!

First time eating here and it was very good. I ordered the cheesesteak with mayo, tomatoes, mushrooms, and banana peppers. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. I wasn’t able to catch the managers name, but he was on his feet and was wiping down tables, checking the tea jugs, and keeping thing in a smooth running order. Good to see a manager not just tucked away in an office. Will try again and I do recommend this location.

Of sub places, this one ranks right up there for national chains. Of course, homemade is always the best. But Penn Station uses quality ingredients to put together a tasty sammy/sub. I like how you can customize his you want it prepared and watch as it gets ready for your taste buds. Oh, their cut fries are some of the best out there. Personally, I like them better than McDonald’s fries. I like Penn Station at least once a month. Try it; you won’t be disappointed!

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone! I ordered a salad and when they brought my salad to our table I asked for a fork. She very rudely told me they didn’t have any forks. I asked how I was supposed to eat my salad and she says I don’t know figure it out and walks away. My mother in law walks up to the register and they are all talking about us. They said they didn’t have any forks but offered to make me a sandwhich so I told the guy what sandwich I wanted. While sitting at the table waiting for my sandwhich the woman came over and threw a fork down on the table and said there ya go I had to dig deep for this. The staff was so rude and the food was not good at all!

I order on DoorDash and picked up I had three orders my mothers ordered a large sandwich which was correct then my son order a large the order was wrong so when he showed the sandwich wasn’t a large she basically called him a lier he once again showed her the sizes were different so the woman (she had red hair) made him another 1/2” sandwich. My order was no mushrooms and I have mushrooms in mine. I don’t appreciate this lady calling my 19yr old son and lier and I’ve called to tell them my order is wrong because I ordered no mushrooms and it has mushrooms on it but you can’t get through because I have been calling for about 30mins and phone line is busy

Website states they close at ten pm arrived at nine pm and no outside lights were on, open sign on door was off and as I parked the inside lights were turned off I drove off thinking they were closed tried calling and no answer but could see two men standing inside went down the street to turn around and as I drove past again I saw a car and stopped again went to the door and it was open. It’s now 9:15 I went inside started to place my order was told I could only order from the cold menu because the grill was off and no fries because the fryers were off I still placed an order and two of the three sandwiches were wrong barely any meat and one piece of bacon on the Turkey bacon and ranch. One other customer came in was told the same as I and he left then another came in wanting a steak and like myself had to order a cold sandwich and no fries. This isn’t my first experience at going there at nine pm and all the lights off as if they’re closed. This is a wonderful place to eat but this was ridiculous after a long day setting at the hospital with a sick loved one who just wanted a hot sandwich and this is the only restaurant that offers that till 10 pm. Disappointed

I went there to puck up dinner after work. Ordered $30 worth of food. I specifically requested newly dropped fries. Was told they would be fresh. Paid for my order after asking again if my fries would be fresh. They gave me my order I walked to my car and ate a fry and immediately went back in the store and indicated that no only were my fries cold but they were also very old tasting. I told them that they could have them back and was told that they couldn’t take them back. They said they would drop more fries. I indicated that I was very disappointed with my order and service. When I came in she looked at me and told me that I would have to wait 10 minutes to place my order. I always had past memories of good food and service there. I will take my $30 somewhere where they appreciate you and provide customer service. Very disappointed

I grab a sandwich from this store at least once a week for the past couple years. I have never been disappointed. Beyond that, I’ve pretty much always been thrilled with my food. Sometimes, a great lunch is just what you needed on a rough day and that’s what I got. So this is me wanting to give Penn Station of Kanawha City a well-deserved shout-out. Much love.

I am literally obsessed with the chicken teriyaki sub. The people are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is pretty chill for a chain fast food shop. No complaints!
