McAlister’s continues to be one of my go-to spots when I’m visiting the U.S. The food was great as always—filling, tasty, and consistent—and the service was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit.
The only small difference this time was that the sweet tea wasn’t quite as good as I’ve had at other locations, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Still an easy recommendation, and I’ll definitely be back.

Very disappointed. Usually I have a great experience, but this time was different. I ordered a sandwich plain, they put everything on it. When I asked nicely to have them replace the food they took it back left partial tomatoes on my food and the bread was soaked in tomato juice. $40 worth of food & they couldn’t even just remake the food. I also ordered sauce and was charged additional for that & never received it.

I only get the salads from McAllister’s. I just wish the salad wasn’t quite so dry. Ringing lettuce before putting the salad together really improves taste. I know I’m picky.

Always a great experience. I only go when visiting my son who goes to school in South Bend. Always friendly staff and they make sure are always checked on. Love the pickles and broccoli cheddar soup. My son loves the sweet tea and cookies. Can’t wait to go back.

McAlister’s is a refreshing mix up of fast casual cafe food. The food is delicious and fresh. I usually go for a salad, and I found out that salad dressing is made in house. That’s probably why it tastes so amazing. I also am in love with their sweet tea. It’s basically Southern sweet level but not as sweet as McDonald’s. Although, make sure you ask for no ice or light ice. They’ll give you so much otherwise, but drink refills are free. The atmosphere is pretty cozy and calming, and it makes for a great place to stop and eat lunch with friends or family.

2nd time coming here. Been good both times. Had the club and chili. Also the ultimate nachos. Staff are very friendly. Marisa both times was very good with recommendations and was very friendly and patient.

One of my favorite sandwiches is the King Club from McAlister’s. Portions are good sized. Always leave here stuffed and content.
