Seated by Paulo( owner) our waitress was great as well. Food and drinks served at your pace( not rushed) they even exchanged my glass of wine for one that paired better with my meal, at no extra charge.casial atmosphere, not to loud. Pretty busy that Friday at 7pm. Reservations recommended.mushroom risotto ( barley used) and mine was filet of sole. Both great. Had calamari app, yummy, and dessert was an espresso martini!. They also have a separated (by 1/2 wall) bar,as well as additional room for larger groups

I’m in Salinas for a business trip and my hotel is doing construction. All I wanted to do was relax, but try doing that when they’re pulling pipe through the walls. So, I decided to dine earlyish (like blue-hair early) and, since I like my Mexican food best and am usually disappointed in restaurant Mexican, I look for not-a-Mexican-restaurant.

Really great spot. Came through on a weeknight and had a lovely time. The wait staff was very fast and kind. Just had a hard time with how quiet it was despite lovely atmosphere otherwise. Pizza and wine were great.

This is a charming gem with delicious food. The decor was nicely done and there wasn’t a single bite of food that we didn’t absolutely enjoy! The chef visited our table and later happily wound up the cuckoo clocks so my daughter could experience their chirping birds, chimes, and moving characters. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you Chef!

Ended my birthday night with an awesome meal at Patrias… my European friend swears by schnitzel so I gave that a try and I was not disappointed. The plate had nice portions and it was seasoned very well. I talked my wife into getting the lamb shank and WOW we both were impressed. It tasted so dang juicy, and really really hit the spot. The shank was huge, but the taste was on point so it was devoured. Lol.

Book Tenders love Patria’s delicious soups, delectable entrees, interesting appetizers, and of course their fantastic selections of wines, even enjoy a cocktail. Plus the executive chef/owner is welcoming and the atmosphere – ah the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed European county, The food is consistently excellent. Go eat!

Patria is somewhat eclectic in its offerings of European style dishes. I don’t have a favorite dish there but their pizzas you will not find in a corporate chain place.

Very Cool Restuarant! Salinas finest! My drink Passion fruit Martini was very good! And Dinner was Very good as well. I had Fried Calamari that wasn’t very crispy but it was soft and the dipping sauce made it very tasty. I also ordered the Chicken Salad… I enjoyed my meal listing to cool jazzy Bossa Nova type music. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a well balanced vibe and clean look. It really gives you more of the city type vibe then of Salinas! I went on a Thursday evening and the place was crowded so reservations are best!

Patria never fails. The food in many restaurants usually is hit and miss, but I have yet to have anything – appetizer, main, or dessert – that has disappointed me! A little pricier than other local options, perhaps, but a much better quality meal for the money. Highly recommend!

Overall was a great experience and the food was delicious. I opted for the special of the day which was a lamb shank. It was cooked beautifully and came right of the bone. The sauce was also delicious and the peas a nice touch. My wife had the lasagna and that was even more amazing. Creamy, cheesey, and very flavorful. Was really a great dish, and I would highly recommend it (I know it will be my choice during our next visit!) The desert was… Lackluster. We decided to share a cheesecake. Tasted like a store bought cheesecake, similar to the bread and butter we were offered after taking our drink order. The lemon sauce with hints of strawberry was better than the cheesecake. I was happy to have tried this cozy little spot with a great ambient atmosphere.
