I have not been to this location in months and I was quickly reminded why when I visited this evening. I asked for a plate of white rice and broccoli and beef. The woman employee asked “broccoli?” I said yes. I saw her continuously scooping from a pile of large broccoli pieces and avoiding the beef pile, continuing to separate the broccoli from the beef to put it in my plate. I also saw her only putting it on the right side of the plate even though it was the only entrée I requested. I asked for a little more beef as it was mostly broccoli. She said “it comes with broccoli and beef” trying to insult my intelligence, while she was the one to say “broccoli” when I said “broccoli and beef” earlier. I repeated that there was mostly broccoli in the plate and she worked hard to scoop 1 piece of beef, put it in the plate, and then tell me I had plenty of beef, more than once. If I were visiting alone, and paying for that meal myself, I would have left it there. If I visit a Panda Express again, it will be in a nice white neighborhood, where they know how to treat their customers. I’m not white, but it’s been proven time and time again that the best customer service is nowhere near here.

Some food was so spicy we could not eat. Had to throw it out. That was the shrimp and beef. The noodles tasted like they were in an ice bath. Out of mixed vegetables.
Orange Chicken tasted under cooked and soggy. The front servers were limited to 2 at 5:30pm a 3rd server became available when the order line was nearly out the door! The rest of our food tasted very salty. Ruined our eating out. Won’t be back if Panda Express is more like ER immediately

The lady who decided to pile on my second entree on my first entree was rude. They were busy I thought and just mentioned that perhaps she might want to serve a plate she would like to receive. Ovi, I asked for soy sauce and hot sauce when she finished ringing me up I reminded her again to which she said oh yes it’s in the bag. If you don’t like your job get one you do like instead of making others miserable about your life choices. Donaya B needs to re-think things

Certain employees don’t know what they’re doing and are rude most times. Food is never the problem, it’s always good. Angie and Andrea and Cynthia are amazing at their job!!!

More times than not, when I come here for lunch they do not give me teriyaki sauce with my teriyaki chicken. It blows my mind that something so simple is constantly overlooked by staff. I don’t get much time for my lunch break so when I get back to the office and I’m missing the sauce that is supposed to come with an entree I literally waste my entire break just to drive back to get sauce. WHY IS IT SO HARD!? There are so many ways to solve this, but the MOD didn’t seem to be bothered at all. You cut the chicken, immediately put a couple bags of sauce on top. If this was the first time, I wouldn’t waste even more of my time putting in a complaint, but this is the third time this has happened at this location alone, not to mention the many times this has happened since switching to the bags of sauce. It shouldn’t be on the customer to request something that comes with your meal by default. Went back, got a refund and left my order on the counter hoping that MAYBE, just maybe the manager will care enough to have a talk with her staff about this.

The new managers they have now are kicking ass! The smaller one was super sweet, while maintaining complete professionalism. I wish I would have got her name, but it was pretty busy at the time, so I didn’t want to bother her. The food was good too! This location seems to be changing for the better 🙂

Manager-in-Charge ‘Jay’ wasn’t professional, instead combative. A couple before me ended up not ordering anything because Jay told them they only had ‘White Rice’ – No Chow Mein, No Fried Rice. When it was my turn to order, I inquired as to why they couldn’t and wouldn’t make more food for the customers. As a diabetic, it’s hard to order from Panda, but the Black Pepper Chicken is my best option with Chow Mein. She finally, after arguing with me for minutes, asked the Kitchen to make a small batch of Chow Mein – Wait so you made Chow Mein for me because I pushed the issue, but how many customers before me did you refuse – I know of 1.
Jay would rather stand there arguing with customers about not having the items they want, instead of just instructing the kitchen to prepare the entree’s in smaller portions that they customers want. I arrived at 9pm, they close at 9:30pm, so are you actually open or not. Look at the pictures below, so sad that because of the actions of Jay, a couple left without ordering, I ended up a Bigger Plate with Warm, soggy Orange Chicken, Bejing Beef that looks like it was prepared hours ago and left to turn dark and hard on the steam table.
Jay said they only have an hour to cleanup after closing, etc. I don’t care about that – After working a 12-Hour day, all I want to do is order some food, go home to eat and relax. Why does it have to be such a hassle at Panda Express a 1/2 hour before closing. This is unacceptable and quite ridiculous that you’re open until 9:30, but you’re actually not open, because you refuse to Wok Fresh food for customers.
So Sad – Just don’t even bother stopping at Panda Express anymore. They refuse to Wok Fresh and they’d rather argue with you then offer fabulous Customer Service.
MANAGEMENT: DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PLEASE. I work only a mile away and can’t arrive any earlier than 9pm – I just wish you were truly open going forward. Panda Express doesn’t need employee’s like JAY in their employ. If one of my employee’s was to treat our valued clients this way, they would BE PROMOTED TO CUSTOMER IN A HEARTBEAT!
See What I paid $10.51 for – Fresh chow Mein that I had to argue to get, Orange Chicken that I didn’t even want but it was like the only thing available and Bejing Beef that was OLD. Totally unacceptable. Not even an apology, discount, coupon for the next visit – something.
AT PANDA EXPRESS, IF IT’S NOT SOLD, IT’S NOT OLD, ESPECIALLY AFTER 9PM!
YOU CAN DO BETTER PANDA EXPRESS! I’ll just order at Kwan’s Sanpan Chinese restaurant going forward! Adios!

You can only order 1 packet of sauce even for a family meal that is $70+. Tried calling the store at 1950 E University to ask for more sauces, called multiple times and they couldn’t hear me. So annoying
