Recently ordered a cake for my sister’s birthday through door dash. The online ordering process and selection was great, I am based in NC so I rely on other reviews and pictures that have been posted. The cake was perfect and my sister and brother-in-law really enjoyed it! They asked me for the name and address so they could make a visit themselves! I will be coming to visit and try them out again!

I’m trying to order a bridal shower cake from Palermo’s. What a disaster it’s been so far! I’ve been given 3 different numbers to call, one was a fax number! I finally got through to the administration offices and spoke with a lovely woman who helped me get to the correct information. As it turns out you have to email them. They got back to me quickly but trying to get to pay the invoice is a nightmare. So, I called the administration office hoping to get the wonderful woman who helped me the first time. (I think her name was Anna.) Instead I got Marilyn who answered the phone as if she were answering her home phone, (not Hello Palermo’s) and she had an terrible attitude. When I tried to tell her what was going on she was just rude. Now, I’m trying to pay this invoice and can’t find the link! I asked for a manager and Marilyn told me to call back in an hour and hung up the phone. The ONLY reason I’m moving forward with my order is bc five years ago I ordered a bridal shower cake for my other daughter and it was awesome. I pray that despite the rudeness of their employees the cake will be amazing. Because it costs $325. for 30 people. I’ll report back with pictures and a review of the cake.

Best bakery . Worth the drive if you’re not from around here. They have outside seating for when the weather permits; a very fancy outdoor setup. Plenty of parking on their grounds. They make so many good things – featured here is a chicken parm panini that Tastes beyond delicious!!!! They also serve wood fired pizzas with many different toppings. They make wedding,birthday, holiday and any other cake you can imagine . They also have a big array of cakes and bakery items from which to choose from if you came in the day of and need something quick. Everything is moderately priced and looks fantastic! I Love it here! And their customer service is wonderful , efficient, and friendly. (They don’t rush you to pick and order so they can move on.)

I ordered a cake to be done for my son’s first birthday and it could not have come out more perfect. The theme was space. I used a reference photo to show what I wanted and I personally think it came out even better than the picture. It was beautiful. And the flavor was spectacular. I will definitely be ordering from Palermo’s Bakery again.

We got our wedding cake there last year and it was phenomenal. Just celebrated our first year anniversary, and when every married couple was filling us with expectations of “it’s going to taste like cardboard”, the year-old cake was still every bit as fluffy and delicious. Would absolutely recommend their cakes for any celebration.
