Sorry, but I have to be honest. I was very disappointed in the flavor of the food and cocktails that we order not to mention the price. My burrito was mostly filled vegetables and three small pieces of chicken. Rice and beans had no flavor server with sour cream and what they call guacamole.. That is not guacamole it was pulp of something that doesn’t taste or looks like avocados. I had a beer and my guest drink some cocktails. I had to try them since they were not happy with the flavor of them. One of the was to sweet the other was too sour. My wife had a Margarita, she did like the drink but was not sure if it had any tequila in it. I can go on with the rest of the other dishes but its not worth it. We did like the patio where we sat it had a great view of the mountains. The stuff was friendly, restrooms and dining area was clean. I feel sorry for our guest that come from all over the world to taste Mexican food for the first time and eat here. It’s about quality not quantity.

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve eaten and I eaten a lot!!! The flavor is 10. I had the Oaxaca combo with 3 sides( cheese enchilada, chicken flauta, and chicken tostada that turned into a crunchy taco, and I didn’t mind The views of the Sedona mountains are visible even though we sat further from windows. It’s a bit pricey, but we didn’t mind because everyone agreed the flavors were there. They say they’re wheelchair accessible, we had a stroller, so we used the exit there, and we still had to go down some steos with strollers. Maybe we needed to enter through there to be seated there. The sign was not that specific. I highly recommend it, and we will be back.

Ask to be seated on patio, great view of Sedona! I had their prickly pear drink called Desert sunset I believe and it was so good! Their queso & spinach was a great start as an appetizer. We had the sampler of 2 and shared that. Good food and great service!

The service was quick & friendly but food could use more flavor. Don’t go in expecting authentic Mexican flavor because that’s not what you get here. It was very basic & the chips for the salsa were stale. I did like how I got a cup of sour cream with my meal without even asking though. It was a nice quick lunch with pretty views, but I don’t think I would come all the way back to Sedona to eat here.

The place is very vegetarian friendly. They serve chips and salsa. We had two dinner portions- veggie Enchiladas and veggie burritos which came with a side of vegan cilantro rice and salad. The salsa was nice and fresh. There are different seating areas in the indoor seating section- multiple rooms with colourful decor, one of which has a bar. Our server was very nice and asked us if e e had any dietary restrictions or preferences which was nice. He also gave us some hot sauce on request.

Nice view on the upstairs terrace. Chips and salsa was good. They were out of the local brew, so we settled for dos equis amber. I shared a flan with my wife. It was delicious.

Let this review be a warning to anyone who is considering the beautiful Oaxaca restaurant located conveniently in the middle of the downtown strip. This restaurant appears to be very well respected and is visually stunning. This the true beauty of this restaurant does not translate well into the quality of the food.

My husband and I are Arizona natives, and he is even half Mexican (grew up on Nana’s cooking), so we eat a lot of Mexican food. This is our go-to stop when we go to Sedona. I wouldn’t call it true authentic, but I personally like it a little Americanized. My favorite thing is the shredded beef tacos. Great flavor, and they never skimp on the meat. The salsa is really good as well. Rice isn’t my favorite as it is a little bland and I usually prefer the red. You can’t beat the location, although the stairs are a bit of a pain with a stroller. Whether you eat plenty of Mexican food like us, or you are from out of town and want to try it out I would recommend this place.
