We are visiting from California, and IHOP is one of our favorite places, which is why we chose to come to this location. Unfortunately, this visit was the exception and did not reflect the positive experiences we have had at other IHOP restaurants.
From the beginning, the service was poor. The server walked us toward a table while seating another guest and then told us, “Wait here, they’ll clean the table shortly,” seemingly expecting us to stand and wait for someone to clean the table she intended to seat us at. There were many empty and clean tables available, so we chose to sit at the table next to it.
This location clearly needs better customer service and more staff. There were only three employees working: one in the kitchen and two handling the register and front desk. Because of this, several tables were dirty. Additionally, the front staff were talking to each other from one side of the restaurant to the other, which felt unprofessional and negatively impacted the atmosphere.
It took approximately 15–20 minutes to take our drink order, another 20–30 minutes to take our food order, and a similar amount of time for the food to be served.
Regarding the food, we ordered steak with broccoli, but they didn’t have any broccoli, so I opted for the house salad, which was very basic—just lettuce leaves. My husband ordered an omelet with hash browns, which were very dry. He also ordered crepes, but they added too much cream inside and excessive honey on top.
It was lunchtime, yet the restaurant was incredibly empty.

Jade was lovely, the place was nice. I hade blueberrypancakes, they were ok but not more. The were out of a lot of things, unfortunately crêpes were among thos things. Weak coffee for a Swede, but I had four cups….

I waited 30 minutes only to be told that they needed their booths for other people. People walked out as fast as they walked in. Forty-five minutes in two large groups came in so they worked on setting up tables for them. Half of the place was empty. They were clearly understaffed. Did I mention I’ve only been a customer here since my children were infants who are now both grown adults. In the end the two large parties were seated before me and I was seated at the 50 minute mark. In all the large party only waited 10 minutes.

Service was great. Jade made the visit worth it. Best service in Florida so far this trip.
Unfortunately, MANY things on the menu were sold out because of a busy weekend… we were here on a Tuesday so I think you should have been able to restock by this time. No ice coffee, crepes, spinach, sausage… just to name a few.
Food was ok. Took a long time to be served the food even though there were not a lot of people. Fruit side took 45 minutes.
Really clean restaurant though which was nice!
Overall ok experience.

The Victorious Kicks
Awkward and uncomfortable experience from start to finish. Took about 7 minutes to even be acknowledged at the host stand.
Received a cold “Someone will seat you soon” from a lady at front cashier. Waited about 5 more minutes to be seated while available servers debated about how they were not going to take our table because it was their time to leave. This was audible from one end of the restaurant to the front. No shame whatsoever.
Ashley eventually attended to us. Although she was pretty gracious, she did rush us and even dropped the check before I finished eating. I was never promoted for dessert or asked if I wanted anything else.
Wait staff not wanting to take our table because they were clocking out, yet lingering in premise having inappropriate conversations in front of the few guests that were present. NO SHAME WHATSOEVER. I felt embarrassed for “assistant manager” who seemed to indulge such behavior. Zero class, zero professionalism, very trashy behavior at a corporate establishment like this is beyond sad. Higher ups really need to look into this venue. This tarnished my impression of this company, and I will never set foot in any IHOP ever again. Disgraceful beyond words. I can’t even express how awkward this was for us.
We had to get up and fetch syrup and ketchup from neighboring tables due to lack of service and attentiveness, but then most tables didn’t even have condiments on them and were not even wiped down. Between servers eating in the back, being on phones, and talking about how they wanted to smoke, service was lacking. JUST HORRIBLE!

The food at IHOP was really good — almost everything we ordered was tasty. The pancakes were especially amazing! The only downside is that the place looks a bit old and could use some cleaning or updating. Still, the great food makes up for it. May be we will come back again.

I visited IHOP around 10 AM and the place was already quite packed, which usually means the food is worth it — and it was. Despite the crowd, the restaurant was clean and organized. I waited about 15 minutes for my meal, which was totally fine. The meat I ordered was delicious — juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The overall atmosphere was casual and welcoming, making it a nice spot for breakfast. Service was efficient even with the morning rush. I’d definitely consider coming back again for another satisfying meal.
