So stoked to have Nick’s Soul Food Truck parking in Philomath at Compton Family Wines! You can bring your soul food into the winery and enjoy with a glass of pinot … or two. The menu changes often and absolutely everything is delicious. Jerk chicken, pulled pork, pork chops with mushroom gravy, shrimp n’ grits are some of the mains I’ve had, and the SIDES!!! I never knew how much I liked black eyed peas and collard greens until trying Nick’s. The southern fried cabbage and apple pie baked beans are not to be missed either. Really, just order whatever is on special and you’ll be happy. He often sells out, so show up early on the days he’s there.

It’s not a real party until Nick’s Soul Food is included. Something for everyone, every age, every taste. Our guests absolutely raved about your food at our family 50/80 son/father, Green/Green outdoor birthday party.

Since leaving the south I thought that I said goodbye to crawfish étouffée, but Nick came in clutch and delivered big time! Great service, tasty food and cool location. Come hungry!

5 stars! Hands down, best food I have gotten anywhere, in a long time. I had a pulled pork plate with apple pie baked beans and southern fried cabbage and I can not say enough good things about it. Very reasonably priced to boot.

Wow! I have never even had soul food before and I’m so glad that this got to be my first experience. I got the pork ribs and they were perfect! Sweet, tangy and a little spicy, super tender too! The apple pie baked beans are the best beans I’ve ever had. Nick was so sweet and brought us out corn on the cob and some salmon as well. Highly highly recommend Nick’s soul food!

Authentic southern food in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. It doesn’t get any better than this. The shrimp and grits are far and away the best I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor, and check out this food truck. You won’t be disappointed.

Best Southern food in Oregon! Nick has always been a gifted chef, but somehow he gets better every month. Today, Nick’s special was BBQ Gulf style shrimp with jicama coleslaw. Perfectly executed. Greatest meal I’ve had in the last 20 years.
