This place was just delightful . The music was amazing and the food was as good as the music. The music and calming atmosphere made the food better. Good God, was that BBQ Good. Slap ya mamma Good. This is a place you must go. I hated to miss the live performance but I was with my daughter, who hasn’t tapped into this side of herself. 18 yr olds. I will definitely come back when I’m on an adult trip to enjoy food drinks & music. Let me not brag on the staff attentive and kind. Also talkable about the area and other must go places.

Unfortunately they only have the Pick Two for the meats, but it’s definitely worth the money. They are pretty strict on the lunch special, we got in around 1:55pm and didn’t see the waiter till 12:02 and wouldn’t give us the special, so we got the pick two meal. The pulled pork was amazing! No sauce needed! Very juicy and fall apart good, but the brisket I had was dry and had to drown in sauce to make taste good. The fried okra was amazing and would recommend as a side though. The food was superb and so was the service. This place would get 6 stars if I could give them! We shared a 2 meat platter and there was plenty for both of us to get stuffed. Smoked wings were delicious and cooked perfectly. The half nachos was plentiful as well. Our waitress was helpful when we couldn’t decide what to get. She gave us great service and even brought out an extra platter for us to divide our food on. Loved the atmosphere here – Blues music was playing and we sat outside during perfect weather.

The best fried okra! Enjoyed the pick 3 (burnt ends, brisket and sausage) all of these were good! I had to get a go box…. Also enjoyed Mac and cheese which was not from scratch, collard greens. My date enjoyed the 1/2 order of BBQ nachos, stating that it was Rotel cheese but it was not. Chips were cooked on site. The dish was still enjoyable.

I’m not a big BBQ fan (I know, blasphemy) but friend recommended we go here and it was great! Had the burnt ends and sausage platter and pulled pork nachos. Delicious and I had enough to bring home for later. Definitely want to stop by again to try the rest of the menu. Only let down is the menu online shows they have fried pickles, but the menu in person didn’t.

BEST BBQ ON THE COAST! Already hands down. This location is a fun, quaint vibe. The smoked chicken is falling off the bone and out of this world. The fried okra is satisfying and a great portion! The onion gamblers were great too. The baked beans are sweet and very meaty! The coleslaw could be better. Staff was great. Our server Jade was so friendly. Overall, great experience for BBQ in Bay St. Louis!

Everyone at the table said that the food was delicious. They definitely know how to do BBQ! Personally I would appreciate a bit more beer selection, but if I’m in the Bay St. Louis area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit Murky Waters again.
