My husband and I went to Mo & Hari’s for our date night last night and were very pleased! Our server, Dusty, was excellent and gave us a great wine recommendation. My husband had the tomato bisque soup and salmon salad and said it was terrific and cooked perfectly. I had the grilled snapper and it was absolutely wonderful! Portions were more than generous for everything and presentation was very well done. (I wish I had taken a picture!) The atmosphere was warm and cozy. I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like about the evening. (Except perhaps that we were holding ourselves to only one glass of wine!) Thank you, Chef, for the amazing food and thank you, Dusty, for doing such a great job! We will be back soon!

Ownership has changed. We were regulars and tried to support the staff we enjoyed but all of their excellent cook, bar, and wait staff has left. Small changes noticed to economize …. no aioli, now have watery ranch instead. Decreased amount of bread they give. Certain liquors no longer available. Wine selection on the wall has greatly declined. Favorite dessert no longer available. But prices are the same. Used to be a bustling place but now it’s a ghost town. Such a shame ….

We went in around 4 pm and there was only one other table with guests. We told our server, Dusty, to surprise us, and he delivered! Dinner was not cheap, but service was superb and the steak, salmon, and shrimp we ate were perfectly paired with our drinks.

Sad what has happened to this place. I used to love to go there. The last 3 times I’ve been there the service has been TERRIBLE (I was there 2 weeks ago). Food has gone down hill, new bartender sucks. We asked for a drink that we have been getting there for at least 3 years and he had no clue so he looked something up and when it came out it wasn’t remotely like it was supposed to be, this after waiting 45 minutes and there were only 3 tables in the whole place. Had to get our own water, silverware, had to ask multiple times for bread.

Reservations for Valentine’s Day for 4. After being seated found out it was a 4-course meal – Salad, Soup, Entree, and Dessert. The first food came after an hour – it wasn’t correct. The next food came after an hour and a half – which was entrees. They were not all correct either. No salad, no soup. But the full bill. Talked to manager but got no help from him. Did eventually get 2 salads and 3 desserts. And paid full price. On the plus side, the food was good.

Had a great time at Mo and Hari’s for our 10 year anniversary. We arrived super early due to the ice on the roads causing us to cancel commits up north.

Seafood Risotto and Chicken Piccata were both excellent! We also had a terrific tomato bisque. The only complaint was the first batch of bread was stale. Immediately replaced with a fresh loaf an their sincere apologies. Highly recommended.

Food is excellent if you ever get the chance to eat it. We’ve been twice now. The first time was soon after they had their grand opening. We didn’t wait long for our table, but we didn’t receive our meals until two hours after we were seated. The hostess continued to bring us salads and bread because the kitchen was “slow”. Again, once the food arrived, it was delicious. We decided to wait months later to give them a second chance and order food to-go. We were told that we could pick up our order in 45 mins. We arrived to pick up our order, and we were informed that we had to wait an additional 25+mins because the kitchen was “behind”. After waiting an extra 15 mins, the manager told my husband, “You won’t believe this, but we ran out of meatballs!” So we waited over an hour for two orders of spaghetti and meatballs only to walk out of MO and Hari’s empty handed. All in all, nice ambient, good food, but horrible wait times and service.

I ordered prosciutto tortellini and got Canadian bacon. My husband’s dish also said prosciutto, but was given ham as well. We know the difference. When I brought it to attention of the owner he said it was “domestic prosciutto” whaaaat?! He could’ve apologized and provided a 10℅ discount to show a little integrity, but.. no. I realize this is Midlothian, but if I’m paying $16 for tortellini with prosciutto, that’s what I expect. Now I know… Never order prosciutto at Mo & Hari’s and never order shrimp at Jimmy’s. U will be taken advantage of!
