Had a wonderful lunch. Every time we come our server Mr Chris makes us feel happy and well served. Mom was craving for some scallops and Chris asked the chef if was possible, even though this was a dinner item. Was amazing. The ambiance is sophisticated but cozy. I also order my favorite lobster bisque which for me McCormick does the best.

The bar at M&S is superb for quick bites and light meals — for comparatively inexpensive prices during happy hour. The bartenders (I’ve been here a dozen times) mix a good drink and are friendly. Happy hour menu is really good (damn it, bring back the shrimp taco), and the seafood and burger are good. The drawbacks: I’ve seen 20 customers with one bartender, so if it’s peak hours be prepared to wait. And don’t forget parking can be tough at this mall… super busy. And prices outside happy hour are a bit of a pinch. A little posh with a pricetag.

In summary, our experience here was below average. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm (granted it was Valentine’s Day) and we were seated at 8:00 pm. Although it was Valentine’s Day, the restaurant was not all that busy and they appeared to be short staffed. We ordered cocktails with dinner and they weren’t great. Both tasted very syrup heavy and it was hard to finish them. For the price of their food, you don’t get much. A filet is $32+ and you only get one side. No dinner salad either unless you pay extra. The service we received was less than average. Our waitress was slow to check on us and we were listening to staff conversations throughout our entire meal. For the cost to eat here, we expected much more out of each interaction we had. It’s highly unlikely we’ll be back or recommend this restaurant.

Party of 10 celebrating 2 birthdays. I typically am not one to write a negative review, I just don’t go back. This deserves the review. Our service was beyond horrendous. If it wasn’t for being with good company it would of been a complete disaster. We were there 45 minutes before getting our drinks. The entire place cleared out before we were even getting our food. Food was a mess, no kidding. It seems like everything we asked for didn’t happen.

Had a wonderful lunch today, provided free to Vets today. Had the Beef Medallions and the Parmesan crusted Flounder. Both were wonderful and Staff were very polite and professional. We made our reservations three weeks in advance and was there waiting to be seated when prior reviewer tried to get a table with no Reservations and what I saw was the Manager being very apologetic and professional when she was telling them the tables were full, and customer demanded corp. number… That was handled as professionally as the situation could be handled. The website strongly urged making Reservations in Advance do to high demand. Also just wanted to say Thank you again for a great lunch and also the walnut apple desert was to Die For!!!! We will be back!!!!

Made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch at 11 a.m. for a party of 6. They were promoting that all mothers would receive a free chocolate covered strawberry. We arrived on time and were seated. The restaurant was fairly empty. We then sat at our table and waited….and waited… finally about 15 minutes later I flagged down a server and asked if he knew who our server was. He checked with the hostess stand, then came back and announced “Well, no one told me it was me.” He seemed very annoyed to have to be waiting on us. We told him we were ready to order, but he dashed off after taking our drink orders. We then waited forever for him to return and finally take our order. They brought out the kids’ meals fairly quickly. Then we waited some more. At this point, it was after noon – we had been there over an hour with no food. While waiting, a new server came out and said he would now be taking care of us. We never saw the other guy again, so I wonder if he got fired or quit? New guy apologized for our food taking so long and explained that the kitchen was overwhelmed due to Mother’s Day – except there were empty seats everywhere! It was the strangest thing. When our food finally came out, it was cold. At that point we were so frustrated that we just wanted to get our bill and leave. I normally never complain but when the server asked how our food was, I told him it was cold, and he sent a manager over, who very kindly comped our whole meal (which was very kind and not expected). Never received our strawberries. Overall it was a very poor experience but the manager deserves kudos for his good service recovery.
