Beautiful restaurant, kind, courteous staff. The food was really good and my fish was cooked to perfection. The signature key lime pie was delicious! There is a huge salt water fish tank in the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out.

The food was good, the waitress was attentive, restaurant was clean. A surprisingly good restaurant to find in a Bass pro sporting goods store. The bloody Mary was ok it could have been better, The pina Colada was good. Never had alligator til today that was good.. the cajun catfish was fried perfectly. The blackened salmon was seared and blackened just right. The crabcakes could have been seared a lil longer to have a better crust on them but good nonetheless. Over all experience here was good.. I will be coming back

Islamorada is located within the Bass Pro Shop location just off of I-94 in Portage IN. The ambiance is casual. The staff is friendly. We ordered the special of the day, which was all you could eat shrimp at a reasonable price. We also ordered the steak sandwich. The bread that is served upon arrival is tasty and warm. There was cross training happening the day of our visit so our food arrived late. The server and the manager apologized and adjusted our bill. Both dishes were delicious.

I expected much better. We had lunch in the outdoor seating area. It was obvious they had cleared tables away from where pigeons had made a large mess on the floor…. but they didn’t clean the mess. Our table was right next to it. The food was decent (I had salmon), but not worth the price or fanfare that I’ve heard about this place. The wait staff was a bit inconsistent. I wasn’t sure who our waitress was because we were visited by two of them. What really bothered me was being offered dessert and being asked if I wanted a box for my food — while I was still eating. Trying to rush us?

Took the little one to see Santa and decided to have lunch. Kids eat free until Christmas! Our server Tanya was very knowledgeable about the menu, and the for $25 deal was perfect for us. The burger was great, as was the fish and chips. Business was steady but not crowded, and the staff was very friendly and patient with my toddler! We will be back.

It used to be that this was one of my favorite places to eat locally. Their menu isn’t as big as it used to be, and I don’t think their food is quite as good as it used to be. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s pretty good, but it just seems like things have slipped a bit there over the years. My favorite food used to be there alligator, and last time I had it it was pretty good but there was just something not quite the same about it. But their menu has shrunk, and along with that it seems a bit of service has shrunk a bit too. The setting is really pretty great, they have a huge aquarium, saltwater aquarium in the restaurant we go to, and it’s surrounded by pictures and knickknacks about fishing and fish and seafaring illustrations and things on the wall. My husband and I took our toddler to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa. The last time we ate at this restaurant the service was mediocre at best, however the food was great and I could not wait to eat the delicious bread that is served as an appetizer again! Well today our service was basically non existent. We were sat promptly and our server took our order. No sign of her again for the next half hour. When she finally reappeared to bring us our entree’s I asked her for some of the bread. She gave me a dirty look and when she brought the bread to our table she stated bread is available only upon request. Uh? What? That’s fine – but this is only our second time eating here and the last time we were here we knew nothing about the bread and our waitress brought it out without us requesting it so how are we supposed to know it’s by request only? To top it off my 2 year olds cheeseburger was absolutely charred. So black it was bitter and delivered with applesauce as opposed to the French fries we requested for our child who knows exactly what she wants. We decided it wasn’t worth waiting another 30 minutes for paid for our meal and got the baby a cheeseburger from McDonald’s. My husbands alligator tacos were amazing and my chicken sandwich was great as well. The food is the only saving grace of this place.
