The BEST Mexican food I have found in Nebraska! Hot sauce is actually spicy which is a big deal to me. Lady who runs/owns it is so friendly and helpful with the menu. Menu is limited but everything else e have tried had been out of this world good! We will definitely be back for their home made Mexican food. Yum!

One word – Amazing! The reviews do not lie. I had one adobada taco and the chicken enchiladas, both were very good. Hubby had the biggest burrito we have ever seen! Who knew you had to come to Nebraska for great Mexican food! Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

My husband hasn’t had excellent authentic Mexican food since he left Arizona over a year ago but today he has found his go to place. Excellent food, service and prices and we will be back. Highly recommended for family and friends.

This is my first review. I loved my experience today. Street tacos on Tuesday for $1.50 each. Fresh tasting Salsa and a friendly staff. I ate a good sized meal, I couldn’t believe the bill was under ten bucks! I will stop here everytime I come through Nebraska City

Stopped by for a quick lunch and we’re so glad we did! Very nice gal working, she may be the owner. Food was exceptional and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Soda was severed in nostalgic glass bottles, made for an even better experience!

Menu is more authentic than many Mexican restaurants. Food and service were excellent (although my wife and I were the only ones there so the service part wasn’t difficult). Menu was entirely in Spanish, waitress says they’re working on an English version. Venue was plain, a bit tired looking but clean. Priced about right. All in all a nice meal.

We were just passing through and are happy we found this place. Great flavor, large portions, and cheap prices. They said they opened in January. I’m glad they made it through Rona and hope they stick around more. We’ll plan to eat here on future trips through town!

This is my first review. La Unica is absolutely deserving of it. This place is soooo good. Be warned, this is not white people Mexican food, its legitimate Mexican food. Yes there is spice, no theres not sour cream on everything. The adobada tacos are to die for! Everything ive had from here is simply amazing. Homemade hot sauces, authentic food, FANTASTIC SERVICE! Aaaaand they actually have Jarritos! The awesome Mexican sodas! I mean what else could you ask for!
