Very bad place to eat. Chips were super stale, like they tasted like carton board. We asked the server to get us more fresh chips and she brought back a basket full of broken tostadas. They were also stale. We ordered shrimp, the shrimp was over cooked, it was like chewing on plastic. The taste of the sauce was as if they had poured the “Valentina” sauce over the shrimp. No taste whatsoever. We ended up returning our food. The manager took the food back and did not charge us for it. We ended up looking for another place to eat. Save your money, this place does not have good food. Even the Guac had huge chunks of onion.

I ordered a torta pollo but I asked my server Doris to have the cook cut it in 4 pieces.. I don’t really experiment when I eat at this restaurant.. I keep it simple.. Some other restaurants charge 15 for tortas but it’s $12.72 here.. I kinda miss the glory days of $8.99 tortas but I guess times have changed..

Definitely the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, maybe the worst restaurant. Stale chips, calamari too salty to eat, old mushy shrimp with no taste, ceviche tower was too disgusting to eat (old seafood in sauce that’s essentially tomato juice and Worcestershire), the octopus tasted rotten, carnitas were rock hard like they had been sitting out for a week. Even the rice and beans were bland and terrible. So gross

Great first impression coming into Charlotte. Friendly staff, big tasty margaritas, giant guacamole bowl (excelente), and dont even get me started on the jalapeno bacon wrapped shrimp. Everything was fantastic and it’s so cozy and inviting inside. Check it out if you’re in the area❤

Missing home (California) I was ecstatic when I came across this place. It didn’t let me down. It was Delicious. I had the camarones en agua Chile. My daughter had the cóctel de camarones and shel loved it. Its pricey but for the taste of home I had missed totally worth it.
