I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. Surprised to see the large plate! They did not have agua de jamaica so I had to get water. The “open” sign wasn’t on, but it was clearly open.

This is a diamond in the rough. So glad we stopped to try it. My lunch special #3 was so good. And my daughter had #4. Hers was also really good. I’ve never seen her clear the plate so fast. The plate didn’t have time to cool down. The waitress was amazing. I will definitely go back.

This is their “cali burrito.”-$11.03 Consists of rice, steak, beans, and maybe cheese. This is take out but their restaurant doesn’t give off a sit down vibe. Between the price, quality, and combination I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I was very excited to try La Joya, and ordered takeout tonight. Got the veggie chimis for my other half and the #1 dinner combo for me, and wow. I’m blown away, and not in a good way.

Overpriced for the portion that you receive. Will not be coming back here.

Authentic home cooking in a Mayan tradition. If you want Tex’Mex, you won’t find it here, but this food reminds me of the local hangouts in the Yucatan and Guatemala. Key here is authentic – not fancy, just hearty and very flavorful.

The food was just ok, didn’t seem like a lot of love went in it if you know what I mean. It did take us a while to get our food once we ordered and the chips tasted a little stale

It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great and has prices that are abnormally high for Mexican/Latin American focused restaurants. I had the ChoriPollo, and the seasoning was pretty good, but the chicken was overcooked. Two friends had a burrito, and I found them to be quite awful, even worse so when price was considered. Rice was baseline and nothing else was particularly impressive. This could be a 4 restaurant if they lowered their prices, but for now, it stays a steady 3.

Me and my husband stopped by there on our way home from vacation. We both were very unhappy. The salsa was watered down and there was no salsa it looked like soup. I said something but the woman brought back the same thing. Not alot of choices on the menu. Most of the time when we go out to eat for mexican im so stuffed and can barely finish my food but not yhis time. My quesadilla was hard and chicken was over cooked and most of all the food wasnt fullfilling. Bad decision on where to eat and im still hungry which never happens after i jus go out to eat. Prices werent too bad.

Very tasty and consistent. My wife and I meet here for lunch occasionally and are always happy with the food and service. The price is also good for the quality and quantity of food. In total, we’ve eaten here dozens of times and have yet to have a complaint.
