This is the tastiest Chinese restaurant I’ve found in the Eugene / Springfield area! Tbh though, that is a low bar, and it really depends on what you get. The lunch specials are a great deal, and the portions are really big on the dinner menu. Biggest negative is the dining area itself. We’ve been here quit a few times and there’s always dirty tables. Not like one or two but 10+ tables that are dirty when we walk in and dirty when we leave. It’s just kind of unappetizing to eat right next to so many dirty tables. But I think it’s worth it for the food.

Such an amazing and helpful staff. The owner is so full of great energy and kindness. I’m so excited to see what this Sushi spot can do for our Eugene/Springfield Oregon!

The Food was excellent. My family was a little early for the dinner rush so we had the restaurant to ourselves. It was a nice and peaceful place to eat. I highly recommend this place. We had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box, Kirin Happy Family, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. There was a long wait between our order arrival so next time I would specifically ask that all food is brought out at one time.

I was visiting my parents from out of state and we ate here for dinner. It’s a family owned restaurant. One of the young girls serving, might be one of the daughters, has airpods in and very obviously does not want to be there. Blantantly showed her moodiness and annoyance as soon as we walked in the door. There were only one other group eating at the time, therefore they were not busy. She then slammed the cups and water glasses down and rolled her eyes as my parents kindly ordered. I’m not really sure what her problem was, and she might be going through something in her private life, however it does not excuse her rudeness. My parents are the sweetest people and I did not appreciate this girl being so disrespectful toward them. Her aweful behavior made the somewhat decent meal seem mediocre. If you want to enjoy a peaceful meal, and are sensitive to other people’s attitudes, this will not be a good place to go.

This great quality restaurant reminded me strongly of the family style Chinese restaurants from the 90’s!

This was my first visit at this restaurant. It was very clean and the decor was nice. The menu was like every other Mandarin restaurant menu. It did not have anything special on it. There was a very young waitress training and older waitress. She was very cute and very good. The reason I only gave four stars is that after she gave us our bill, The young waitress who appeared to be about 12 years old, stood above us at the end of the table and waited for us to pay. This seems very inappropriate. We weren’t even finished eating yet. They should just leave the bill and let you get your money out to pay. We are in our 60s and we’re not going to eat and run.

This was our second trip, the first time I thought we just ordered wrong and the service was slow. The food was a bit pricey for being just mediocre. If you have certain dietary restrictions like gluten, nuts or lactose you should probably steer clear of kirin city. The atmosphere of the decor are horribly dated and the table was terribly sticky, never a good sign. The inevitable question …no I will not return for a third time

This was a great Japanese Eatery in the Heart of Springfield. Convenient to the Highway, this establishment has great Waitstaff along with wonderful Seaweed, Cucumber, and Avocado Salads. Their Green Tea is tasty, and the Menu is decently priced. Thank you Kirin!

I went in here the other day with my sister, brother and mother. Let me tell you something about this place, these people working here are the rudest people I’ve ever met in a restaurant. They slammed our food down and they never came to check on us. They gave us attitude from the time we came in to the time we left. The food is pretty good, but the service sucks! I will never be back.

Delicious food. Good price. I tried both the Chinese food and the Sushi and they are both so good. I saw the grand opening sign and had to try them. Can’t wait to try more dishes. Will definitely be coming back.
