Restaurant was more than half empty yet it took us an hour to get our food. The server, once she arrived, was on top of it. Food was mediocre at best but be aware that they tag on 15% to the check automatically as a “service charge”. I was told this was NOT the tip “technically” and since the server was outstanding, I tipped her additional. Sanitation score was decent at a 96. Would we come back? Maybe.

Every bite was absolutely delicious! The only thing is we were scrunched in at the table like sardines. Aside from that, waiter was wonderful and kept our drinks full, cook was funny and cooked everything perfectly. The food quality was outstanding and I can’t wait to go back again, hopefully with a little more room to eat next time.

This is our favorite hibachi spot in Greensboro! The food is consistently good, regardless of which chef we get. My husband prefers sushi and is always happy with the selection. At times, the service can be a little slow depending on who is waiting on the table. More often than not, we have very attentive and timely servers! My suggestion, make a reservation if you plan to visit. They are always busy and this ensures that you do not have to wait for a long time. You can call anytime and leave a voicemail with your reservation request and the staff is very good at returning and confirming calls.

Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi bar will not disapoint. Fantastic food, great envoironment and excellent staff. Mr. Choi is one of the best sushi chefs around. Thida, Cody and Mike have always have a smile on their face and keep your glass “full”. We’ve been dining with Kaburo for over 20 years and have enjoyed every experience. We consider them all family. Great food and converstations! Highly recommended if you are looking for lunch or an evening out.

Absolutely great experience! Called to make a reservation the day prior and had to a message. Got a call back in a timely manner to confirm reservation. Restaurant is very clean. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Our Chef was very personable and entertaining. He prepared a delicious meal cooked to perfection. Customer service is hard to come by these days and the entire staff here nailed it! Thank you!

We love going here because the sushi is ALWAYS on point. We have had some terrible service there at times. One time, we sat there for about 25 minutes without anyone greeting us, so we got up and walked out, but it usually isn’t like that. I’m not sure if they are/were short-handed, but the service is usually always just ok. We kind of just know the service will be mediocre, but the sushi is what we come for because it seems to be the only place we have found that has an excellent sushi chef. The sushi area is seat yourself and first come, first serve. You will have to alert the bar tender on the sushi side that you are sitting over there, or no one will know you are there to serve you most of the time. The hibachi side usually has a bit of a wait, but it is awesome to watch the chefs cook the food right in front of you. It is a cool experience. The restaurant is usually kept pretty clean and has a good atmosphere. All in all, I would recommend this place for the food and the experience. The service is hit or miss, but it would be worth it to check it out.

We ate here last Friday night. We came a little late, maybe about 8:30. Everything about the food, chef and service was superb. I have to brag about the chef though. The energy and entertainment Mop brought to the table was EVERYTHING! It made the 1 hour wait for the food worth the wait. We brought our toddler who was getting bored and even he was mesmerized by Mop. He was the absolute best thing about our entire experience. The food was so good.
