I have to be honest. Went to this place today thinking I was about to be in heaven with the food based off what I seen on TV. I can say the waiters are great. Positive attitude and very helpful but the over atmosphere of the location isn’t my style they don’t even serve the table with water you have to buy a bottle of water for 1.99. Outside of that what I came for wasn’t even an option on the menu. They said come on Wednesday for an after work set which I’m not a club/day party person I just enjoy fine dining and this wasn’t it. It also took 50 minutes before I received my food. You have to write on a menu they give you take it to the cashier and they bring you your food in a to go container. Now the food was not what I was expecting at all. The Cat Fish was salty, Mac and cheese salty and lack of cheese, yams needed sugar and cinnamon and let’s not get on the flour butter cookies that are 6 bucks and tastes like flour… I hate to say but she need to regroup get some tasters and see what happens. They also need better furniture for the restaurant area.

LOVE the customer service. Veeta has the best customer service I have ever experienced in a long time. I heard really good things about this restaurant and decided to try for myself. My husband and I had the fish dinner and the fried chicken dinner. The food was delicious. I didn’t need to use hot sauce for my fish it was seasoned and it was not salty. The mac and cheese and the yams were delicious. The fried green tomatoes was delicious too. Veeta made us feel welcome and greeted us with a smile. I will be recommending this restaurant to all my family and friends and I wish Veeta and her staff nothing but success .

I reached out to Ms. Veda while planning my department’s Black History Month activities. It was late notice but she made it happen and was truly a pleasure to work with. When she dropped off the catering order we exchanged big hugs like we knew each other and I knew that same love was was in her delicious food. Not a drop was left after our soul food lunch. We enjoyed the turkey greens and yams, but the mac and cheese and fried chicken wings were fan favs. We’re looking forward to working with her again this summer for a larger corporate BBQ.

Let me start off by saying customer service is top notch. Today was my 1st time here and I LOVED it. I met the owner she was beyond friendly. An her customer service made me want to come back even more. I had the smoothed chicken, sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese and I smashed EVERYTHING. No leftover lol. On my way out I noticed they had kool-aid. I had to try that and OMG it was FYE. I can’t want to try the butter Cookies and peach cobbler. Make sure y’all go and support its a hidden gem

I won their raffle for Thanksgiving and everything was beyond good . Cooked to perfection. Tasted just like Mama’s literally. Definitely check them out. They serve a little of everything and not just soul food.
