This was our first time here and had a great experience. There was a short line since they had just opened, but it wasn’t a long wait. The food was delicious and everyone we interacted with was friendly. We will definitely be back to try the pizza!

I am so heart broken. I had been going to Julian’s since Embassy Row. We would spot the owner and he would be always so friendly. The food was great so I was extremely excited to know we had one by the house now. Today we had a late dinner, we came in at 9:15pm and were not greeted by the cashier, instead she yelled name. I felt I was in a government office downtown. We ordered quickly, for us the usual…Lasagna and the Eggplant Parm. To me this one one of the only places I’ve loved how the prepped, delicious, well cooked amd breaded and smothered in sauce and cheese. We ordered one glass of wine and and a soft drink. As we were handed our number and glass of wine mid way we noticed the cashier failed to give us the fountain drink cup. We make our way to the table and as I am grab my glass of wine to taste, I notice flaky stuff on the foot of the glass…a bit crusty like white stuff. I try to ignore and as I am getting ready to drink my uneasy feeling down with wine, I see lip stains on the glass. So I return to the cashier and without making a fuss I ask for change of glass and explain why. She inspects the glass with a sour face almost in disbelief yet no empathy towards the inconvenience. She grabs another, and I assume it was also dirty…then grabs another and pours more wine amd hands it to me, ‘thank you’ she says. I keep my cool and think, well the food will be good, I’ve had it before and I am starving. They were all in all prompt…salad served, forgot bread, but food arrived. Desperate to eat I begun cutting into the eggplant parm and notice it is mushy, full of seeds, the breading looked like soaked breadcrumbs around the pieces of eggplant. Not smothered in tomato sauce but more like tomato soup. No flavor just straight out of the can…cheese on top barely melted. I was so hungry I tried to season the spaghetti and “sauce” with table salt and pepper and a ton of grated cheese. I am so tired and don’t feel like going to the cashier for the 3rrd time and confronting possibly anyone at this time. I just have disgust and regret of choosing this place tonight. By the way, the lasagna was meh, seemed microwaved, and it was also partially left on the plate.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was perfect for a relaxing early dinner. The cheese was perfectly gooey and the meats flavorful. This place is good for a casual date or an outing with the family.

Just finished a Julian’s Stromboli. It was good. No. It was great. It may well be the best Stromboli in San Antonio. While I can’t say for sure, I can say that I’ve had a lot of different ones and Julian’s is by far the best one remembered having. I’d like to think I’m somewhat of a Stromboli connoisseur, maybe. I can say this. The crust, top and bottom, is done to perfection and that’s what most places get wrong.

Chicken was a little dry. Lasagne wasn’t that great. Bread was good, and so was the House Salad. There wasn’t enough dressing, though.

Julian’s has a great and modern atmosphere. The food and salad were good and fresh. The service could use some improvement. Our waitress was rude.

Went in for lunch today and got the pizza slice special for $9.99. The slice was gigantic! I could tell it was made with fresh ingredients, but it could have been seasoned more. The salad was fresh, simple, and I had no complaints, nothing special though. I will be back to try other dishes, but being that the place was packed at 11:30 on a Tuesday says a lot.

Most authentic Italian food and vibes in north san antonio, period!!! The staff treat you like family and are respectful, responsive, and friendly. We got a calzone and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza is easily the most authentic Italian American pizza in town. The calzone hit the spot and brought me nothing but joy. And we got a tiramisu on the way out — I tasted it at home and it was pretty legit as well, but I’m very picky on my tiramisu. I cannot wait to come back. Bring the whole family to this joint. Amazing.

This is a pretty good, local place for decent Italian food. I enjoyed my big salad and the lasagna was great, i thought the sauce was delicious. Beer service was self serve because our waiter was underage, but otherwise we had a great meal. We will be back!

I ordered a pizza online. I received a confirmation e-mail. When I arrived I was told at the register that they did not have an order from me. I showed them the text message and the person at the register said we do not have your order. Then she went over to the warming oven and found a pizza box with my name. She said that it was my fault because I used DoorDash. I disliked being blamed or a mistake made because of their laziness. Why not check the three boxes in the warmer after failing to see my order in their computer. I guess they blamed DoorDash too because they failed to tell them of the order that had already been processed and the pizza waiting for me to pick up.
