First time visiting this location. Seemed like I received a lunch portion instead of a dinner that I ordered. Had the Jumbo shrimp and scallops combo and it was super skinny on the meats. Also got the steak and chicken combo and there was definitely more food in that container.

If I ever wish I could give negative ⭐️ stars. Have been tempted couple of times to stop in and try something. Then I seen the attached photo. The back door open and 5 gallon buckets of grease dumped in the ground. If the morality is this low before you get in the door, I’d hate to know what happens to the food before it’s served to you. I’m out.

First off, I typically visit a Joy of Tokyo at least 2-3x a month. This location is TERRIBLE. My rice was obviously “old”… The food overall was literally disgusting. Balls of rice mushed together. I will not visit this location again. Augusta Rd & E North St/Pelham Rd locations are way better!

The sushi I had was Awesome!!!!! The best sushi I’ve had in several months. Food came out fast unlike the Red Bowl. The egg roll was Nice and fresh! Here is a picture of the egg roll.

This is my first time trying this place and never again.! I ordered the steak hibachi while my steak was cooked properly there was no flavor. The rice had no flavor the vegetables had no flavor. It tasted like they just cooked the food with no seasoning whatsoever.! I also had hard pieces in my rice.! I got a spring roll as well, took one bite and spit it out. Very strong taste of ginger I’ve had a spring roll taste like that. Crab Rangoon was good but had no dipping sauce so like I didn’t even want to eat it. Just disappointed overall and wast of money.! Don’t let the good reviews fool you seriously.!

I ordered a Hibachi Shrimp over the phone, went home and I got an order of steak and chicken. Called before heading out again and was told that I would be receiving a full refund and the corrected order. I live about 20 minutes away so it was a very long drive to do back and forth and I had an upcoming appointment so I didn’t have much time to waste. When I got there, I received the refund and was told that they’ll start preparing the order but the owner came out and refused to do it. He said, “We don’t do that here,” and I was met with a ton of attitude. It’s basic business and good practice to refund and prepare the correct order if there was a mix up. Not only did we not get that but we were also met with a terrible attitude on top of the inconvenience and gas money wasted. Never coming again.

Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting! This use to be one of my favorite restaurants and to see their decline, is sad. Today I had shrimp and scallops. Everything was bland and didn’t even taste like it was seasoned at all. I will NOT be back. This location needs to be shut down!

I just made a Uber Eats order. You did not send the BOTTLE of White Sauce I paid for on the order. What is the deal with Attention to Detail???? I pay for it, you pack it. $70 for a meal for two….I don’t mind paying, but seriously…can you just pack the bag with the complete order????
