seriously… I was ready to give this place a five star rating before our food even got there! The atmosphere is great, our waitress was the bomb diggity! and the food… Was amazing. My husband and I each got three different tacos a piece and they just got better each time we try the next one. 10/10 would recommend!

It has been a privilege to work for Joe’s Tex Mex first as a server and now as the new assistant manager. So from the inside I’d like to say how awesome it’s been to watch the place grow and see determined management above me helping the employees grow as well. The food is amazing and the kitchen workers are dedicated as well as phenomenal at what they do. I’ve never worked with such genuine people around truly amazing food. The place and people as a whole make Joe’s what it is. And I’m proud to be apart of watching it all happen.

Food is wonderful, so why the low review? THE DRINKS! The margaritas are watered down and after 3 attempts finally got a peach daiquiri that tasted rotten. The waitress started drinking the first one. Again food is great but go somewhere else to get drinks. They are terrible. Don’t waste your money.

Well, the tacos sounded good, but unfortunately we were not able to even TRY them. We were seated and sat there for a long time without being waited on by one although it was not crowded and there were numerous waitresses standing by the bar chatting. We made eye contact with all of the workers trying to get someone to even ask if we needed anything, but all of them just walked on by. VERY frustrating. We finally just got up and left with empty tummies and went to a different Mexican restaurant so we could actually get some service. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Worst customer service I have ever experienced at an eating establishment.

Excellent food AND service. Yes, things were learned during their start-up period, but they listened to the customers and really provide prompt service and food preparation. My meals are consistently excellent. We love it and go at least once per week. Better yet, I order different things on the menu each visit. Always delicious.

I’ve been here three times in the last month…each time the food was excellent and the service was good. The dining area was quite warm though, which made it somewhat uncomfortable. This building has always been loud…one day someone will install some acoustic tiles on the walls and ceiling to help absorb some of the noise.

I wish I could give this no stars. But one star it will be. I cannot figure how last time we went we had great service and food. Not today, I even bragged about this place. Slow service, server not knowledgeable of menu, no smile. Food was missing items, my husband’s food never came until we after we spoke to a manager, I returned mine without touching it because it was wrong (when I said something the server snarkily said “really?”), my nephew’s food had hair in it, napkins given near the end of meals, no drink refills. At the first point of manager contact, the manager should have just taken over. Sending the server over with the bill, whom first told us the manager took off a lot from our original bill that was “$174 dollars”. Giving us a 69 dollar check. When my husband and my mother in law’s husband questioned $174 dollars she corrected herself saying $110 dollars. First issue with this part, $110 dollars wasn’t correct since I went through the menu and added it up, included tax and the %18 gratuity that was added and came up with $99 dollars, so being lied to is annoying and adding to insult. Had her bring the manager back over. She said she took off my meal, another meal and two kids meals. Honestly as a previous restaurant manager and having been a server and bartender, at first point of speaking with us and seeing all the missing food and side items I would of just said the food was on us, because that is taking care of your guests. But then to add to gratuity to a check when you know the service was not good, I mean come on. She took the bill back after saying she had to “consult with another manager”. Bill remained the same with only the gratuity taken off and to add to insult she had said she was going to get a gift certificate, the gift certificate was only for $10 dollars. Honestly might as well kept it, because we won’t be back.

I had three tacos, the Chicken Fried, Buffaloed Shrimp, and the Big Steer (I think is the name) and loved them all. My wife got the Pollo Loco bowl and even ate her leftovers which is rare for her.
